hey, I'm just a 9-year old, and, even though I am autistic, does not mean that I DONT WANT TO STOP THIS MADNESS.

Do not say me otherwise, or i actually might cuss like a madman. Anyway...

I spend my time on random lyrics sites, including LyricsFreak and this one. Now, like i said i want to break up this "madness" so i just here to say...

(by the way, im going to misspell the words in the next paragraph...)

"I tink tat tis ting wii r talcin bowt iz wely ghey. (I learn these words from my bro who likes to be rude. That word was 'Gay'.) I juzt watt u to sea tat it is most likely one tat hazz no meening at al, and iz onwy(my N key isn't workin' right.) ment to entertane pplz. who startid tis 'ghey ting' anywae? Gahd!"

(translation: I think that this thing we are talking about is really gay. I just want you to see that it is most likely one that has no meaning at all, and is only meant to entertain peoples. Who started this 'gay thing' anyway? God!)

Okay, so I think i made my point. sorry for taking up so much room, and i 'thing i made my point'.
THE KAMBUCHA MUSHROOM PEOPLE SITTING AROUND ALL DAY!

Could it b possibly about spider man? or cops? it says peter (parker) A.k.a. spider man. and it also says a cop got shot just recovered, and it also states something about Jimmy Carter who was a president of the United States. ( who actually did more shit after his presidency than during)and the phrase we light up the sky could be about the things that cops use to pull ppl over, lol im just really bored i have no clue what im talking about. or it could be about war lighting up the sky (flak, bullets, shrapnel search lights)

Geez... | Reviewer: Rupert McGee | 11/16/08

You all start talking shit about shit. Look the point of this song is whatever you think it is, but remember: Not every single song has a meaning to it. Some bands create songs purely to parody others, some to entertain, some to tribute others, some to just express how they feel inside about something, and then some have meanings behind them. Judging by System of a Down's history and what not, i would honestly say this song was just sung purely to entertain. That is not to say i am right, this is just my own thoughts. It is just safe to remember tho that not every song has a meaning.

How is it that you seem to be so sure that is has no meaning. It may have no meaning to you. There is no "fact" of it not having meaning. It's all up to interpretation, and if the band intreprets it in one way, that's what it means to them. If a fan has there own twist on it. That is there meaning.

I also think it is ridiculous to be so analytical of a song and try to find out what it means to the band instead of applying your own meaning. The songs are not there for people to try to figure out what it means to a person, it's for one to figure out what it means for themselves.

So simply stating that it has no meaning is flat out dumb, because even if it is just words on a page for the band, for other people it has meaning and ones own stories can be applied.

You should be calling yourself the newb instead of everyone else.

you n00bs just don't understand soad | Reviewer: Anonymous | 4/2/08

THE SONG HAS NO FREAKING MEANING. Not all of system's music is purely political. In fact, quite a number the band's songs have no true meaning and contains much tongue in cheek humour. I-E-A-I-A-I-O is one of these songs. Another exmaple is the song Vicinity of Obscenity. Is bananna terrecota pie also a kkk chant? What about the whores with bad feet? That must be a reference to Hilary Clinton. Haha, I think not. You douchebags need to quit treating all of system's music like its metaphysical poetry and just take each song for what it is.

the song is not supposed to make since | Reviewer: Anonymous | 4/1/08

first off, id like to say that soad is awsome and this song is one of my favorites. Soad is not stricly a political band. They have many songs such as this one that make no sense, and many with tongue in cheek humor. Also how the hell do you figure soad is vikings or kkk? They're freaking armenian americans from california to start with (not from the american south or norway.) Also, I don't know where you got your history about the kkk from, but i've lived in the deeep south where the Klan still lives and not once have I ever heard of "as we light up the sky" to be an official phrase.

Not political! | Reviewer: Anonymous | 1/8/08

System of a down a political band! I don't kow where people got that idea. Most of System of a Downs songs make sense, and some i agree, are political, but most are not political. System of a Down also has an idea that all songs don't have to make sense and they can still be hits. this song makes no sense, and it was writen that way. I honestly don't know where you got such crazy ideas about this song!

Not Political! | Reviewer: Anonymous | 1/8/08

I dont know where you got politics in this song, System of a Down isn't political, they make songs that don't make sense to prove that songs can still be hits and not make sense. I know system of a Down, they write political songs, but only a few, most make sense, and arent political, but some are, most make sense, but some don't, this song is an example of a song that doesnt make sense!

great song, pointless too | Reviewer: Anonymous | 1/3/08

Great song, and the thing is, it doesnt make sense, thats the thing about system of a down. they say the make songs that dont make sense to prove that songs dont always have to have a point. but good deductions, and like you said, this is my opinion, dont have to follow it or anything

Skodz' review | Reviewer: Anonymous | 12/27/07

it would be great to sing this song as fast and as correct as he does, i have tried and it is hard as. but the meaning of it is the fact that these dick mining the the life out of our planet for there own profits. the fact that he asks 'why' after the word twisters is to show how completely pointless it all is. i have no idea why you guys are going on about the kkk, vikings and Norwegians. isn't the message of system of a down to be your own person and to not be a clone like most of the pricks in Hollywood and not to give in to commercialism and you guys are having a go at this guys own opinion.

it's also been thought that the IEAIAIO sounds represented things such as fireworks. proving the needless waste of resources to only destroy the environment and kill us faster.

Real Meaning | Reviewer: Gary | 12/3/07

System is all about shitting on the government. Not supporting the KKK or some stupid fucking vikings.. I agree with mike. He is corredct about the IDEALIZATION. That is a topic that they would write a song about. They pretty much hate the government and their ways. Also about the Mine delusions acquainted
Bubbles erotica
Plutonium wedding rings
Icicle stretchings
Bicycle shoestrings
verse, that could very well be assoiciated with nuclear warfare, which has been part of more than one of their songs. Anyone who thinks it has to do with the KKK or Vikings is an idiot.

o_o | Reviewer: Chelsea | 11/24/07

I think, you should all stop worrying about what the song means.. and just enjoy the song.

Because you can never sing something the same once you know what its about.
