Serj dont care about lyric meaning | Reviewer: Anonymous | 3/1/12
I think that serj get writers block and the guitarist cant write lyrics for shit anyway "im just sitting in my car and waiting for my girl" is how the guitarist writes lyrics. Serj sometimes just dont give a fuck about lyric meaning. If it sounds good, sell it.
why? | Reviewer: n | 5/17/10
um. . . serj? We're obviously having a hard time figuring this stuff out. Is it abstract poetry or something? Is John Dale Jr. like from that King of the Hill cartoon show, and the verse kind of sounds like indian chanting, so, maybe that pickle pepper picking pussy is about Johnny Redcorn?
Naw, I just don't get it serj. Explain it to us. Great song though.
the real meaning of this song | Reviewer: Anonymous | 2/4/10
this whole song is about anti-racism. IEAIAIO are all the vowles in idealization. the klu klux klan thought what they were doing was ideal, and that was the chant they used. the part where they say and we light up the sky refers to when the klan buned many people. this is a very moving son once you know what it means, this whole song is basicly saying why do we have all this hate and racism
Love it! | Reviewer: Nells | 1/27/10
I feel like the song is asking why we IDEALIZE, the emotion comes from the lack of faith in entire nations of people and how easily they can be swayed to give themselves to the "cause" of the system. The lyrics are somewhat random but come from all different examples of this ugliness. Hope songs like this make people ask why, the internet is breaking barriers and the system and those who run it are losing control, society is evolving and getting smarter.
SOAD!! | Reviewer: michael | 1/4/10
Its all about war, man. Listen to there songs. Being an Armenian and all. System got me to look up on the genocide, now I know my background; religion and war. My dad lived through the war and my lodest bro is in the army. My grandpa too. Some songs are just flat out funny and confusing.
Wrong Word. | Reviewer: Anonymous | 11/13/09
The word "mine" in the part about plutonium wedding rings should be the German word "mein" which means: my. It should be "mein" because he is referencing Einstein who was a German physicist and created the atomic bomb.
Who's Big Idea is that! | Reviewer: RICKY SMITH | 10/24/09
Whatever the song is about, it's deep that's for sure! These guys are "Absolutely Amazing"!, Music,Lyrics,Delivery, "Everything". I think it's amazing all the different ideas people come up with, to say what the song is about, or what they think the song is about. What people think songs mean goes way beyond what any song was ever about.AND THAT'S WHAT I THINK IT'S ALL ABOUT! LOL!
Crazyyyyy...... SOAD | Reviewer: PRITesh | 8/8/09

Could it be that... | Reviewer: jesper | 7/16/09
(Sorry for misspelling now, I'm not american nor English!)
Could it be so that they are singing about unnecessary thing that has been given to much attention? Maybe they want to say that we focus on these unnecessary things, and they are the wrong things to focus about? Maybe they want us to wake up and see the real problems?
Like, take the news.. How often (in Sweden anyway) don't you hear that "some guy is now brought inront of a jury beacuse he pointed a finger" or something like what they are mentiong in "Winked an eye and point a finger"? It maybe is just as simple as that? we ARE focuing on the wrong thing.. Who cares if someone points a finger? People do it all the time! I feel like I'm just blabbering on :P, but what I want to say iss that we maybe should focus MORE on the things that are REALLY important! REAL issues!
Or maybe the song just has no meaning :)!
Stop worrying so much! | Reviewer: Anonymous | 4/13/09
Stop worrying about the meaning of the lyrics SO much.SOAD have said that they do NOT like pointing at them as a political band. They talk about feelings, they talk about all kinds of sh1t.They 've also said that songs which people consider deeply political are actually not.
You can watch interviews like that on youtube.

The accual meaning. | Reviewer: Cody | 1/14/09
The meaning of this song is about anti racism. IEAIAIO are all the vowels in "Idealization".The Ku Kluz Klan think what they are doing is ideal for God, and IEAIAIO is there chant. When System says why it is saying, "Why do we have this racism". And we light up the sky is referring when they burned alot of people. So this song is accually about anti racism and why do we still have it.
Blows up my speakers...in a good way | Reviewer: Cami | 1/13/09
I love this song. The first time I heard it,- (today actually)- my headphones started vibrating. Not to mention the fact that it made my ears feel right weird, it was cool. I don't know, I just like the song for some reason, even though it makes no sense. It must've been right hard for him to do the lyrics though xD.
Soad | Reviewer: Anonymous | 1/4/09
Soad is a very political band. Have you heard the song F^*k the System? Duh!!! Soad is pretty much all about how they think Bush F^*ked "the system" (America). Although some of their songs (to me) don't make much sense.
