it would be great to sing this song as fast and as correct as he does, i have tried and it is hard as. but the meaning of it is the fact that these dick mining the the life out of our planet for there own profits. the fact that he asks 'why' after the word twisters is to show how completely pointless it all is. i have no idea why you guys are going on about the kkk, vikings and Norwegians. isn't the message of system of a down to be your own person and to not be a clone like most of the pricks in Hollywood and not to give in to commercialism and you guys are having a go at this guys own opinion.

it's also been thought that the IEAIAIO sounds represented things such as fireworks. proving the needless waste of resources to only destroy the environment and kill us faster.

Real Meaning | Reviewer: Gary | 12/3/07

System is all about shitting on the government. Not supporting the KKK or some stupid fucking vikings.. I agree with mike. He is corredct about the IDEALIZATION. That is a topic that they would write a song about. They pretty much hate the government and their ways. Also about the Mine delusions acquainted
Bubbles erotica
Plutonium wedding rings
Icicle stretchings
Bicycle shoestrings
verse, that could very well be assoiciated with nuclear warfare, which has been part of more than one of their songs. Anyone who thinks it has to do with the KKK or Vikings is an idiot.

I think, you should all stop worrying about what the song means.. and just enjoy the song.

Because you can never sing something the same once you know what its about.

System of a Down=awsome | Reviewer: ron | 9/27/07

System of a down is awsome there like poetry if it was HARDCORE and it is like a good piece of poetry, not stupid poetry, edgar allen poe poetry, hehe always a hidden meaning and theres usally mor than one

!_! cool | Reviewer: Leeroy jenkins | 9/18/07

this song pwns i see what you guys mean by the KKK and the viking cry but i think you have had to make the song and be that awesome to understand what it means. the first part of the song kind of fits to geather BUT! i dont understand the bridge Mine delusions acquainted,
Bubbles erotica,
Plutonium wedding rings,
Icicles stretching,
Bicycles, shoestrings,
One flag, flag number one,
Painting the paintings of the alive!
that part has me stumped. wheres one of those guys on youtube who know or think they know everything when you need them :/

addition | Reviewer: Travis | 7/29/07

i have read that nuclear weapons can burn imprints of people and objects onto the ground beneath it. that makes me think of the line "painting the paintings of the alive" maybe im way off but its a thought

hello | Reviewer: J | 7/20/07

you guys could be both right because usually kkk members are arian christians that is what i think viking where to

You are all wrong. | Reviewer: mike | 6/30/07

I-E-A-I-A-I-O are the vowels in the word IDEALIZATION. not a nordic war chant, or some kkk crap. And the "One flag" and "plutonium wedding-rings" parts could also be describing the effect after a nuclear bombing, with one flag ruling over all others, radiation affecting all things, and of course this could explain the "As we light up the sky" part of the song... makes more sense than what you guys are saying.

awesome | Reviewer: Anonymous | 6/17/07

personally i think its how you look at it. for some people it may tie in with the kkk, for others it may bring up a spirit of their cultural heritage, its all in how it sounds to you. i think its an amazing song, and for me, when the "siren" sounds, or whatever that is right before the chorus, at first it sounded almost like a monkey to me, and i pictured the jungle with a tribe, personally it feels like tribe music to me.
