The Reviews about Sundays (page 1/1)

Simply incredible | Reviewer: Brian | 1/3/09

I discovered The Sundays, oddly, during a summer job in '03. I heard "Finest Hour" over in house music list, and wondered who this band was? I listened to the lyrics, and did a search. Finding out it was a group called "The Sundays," I immediately went out and bought "Reading, Writing, Rithmatic," and "Blind.". They've remained in my CD changer, iPod and cellphone ever since! Such tragedy that Harriet and David no longer have plans to record. One can only hope! :)

The Sundays are ace | Reviewer: Jeff | 5/2/07

I still listen to the 3 albums on a regular basis. Pure magic. Please return with more music. Absolutely fantastic music.

One of my very favorite bands | Reviewer: James Mailing | 10/7/05

I saw them play in Toronto at the pheonix concert theatre on their "Blind" tour. They were perfect! The sound, the lighting....all awesome! The place was packed too. The band started a lot later than I expected and I figured in order to catch my bus back to Hamilton, I was gonna have to leave about the time the Sundays were gonna hit the stage. I decided I could hang out somewhere after the show until an early morning bus... It turned out to be worth the trouble. They did every song I can think of from their first two albums to date, except "skin and bones". Someone in the front requested it and Harriet graciously declined. I got the impression she had gotten tired of singing it.
As beautiful and sonic as this band sounds on a CD, they are their own equals when performing on stage. I actually give the band and that show a 10 out of 10.
