From the first time I heard your voice Dec 1979,there has been no other to compare and the years have only added more passion and soul that is evident in every note and lyric. Crazy, huh, I'm 46 and still have found no other to touch the very depths of my soul. I finally got to see you in concert on my 18th birthday and then again 1 last time on the Raised on Radio tour in Charlotte NC, it was bittersweet. Steve, thank you for sharing your awesome talent with the world. Personally, I am "Forever in Blue." Wishing you love and happiness always!

You have the best voice in the world I know I listen to all types of music and no one I mean no one has your vocal range. I hope you are still sining and I would live to hear that voice of yours. i do not care that you are not with Journey anymore. I have heard the new guy and he still is no Steve Perry. i wish you well in all of your endeavors. I hope that you will relese some of your own music.

I, like so many, was a huge fan of Journey through my teen years and up. Journey, for me, pretty much ended when Steve Perry left for good. I don't know what it was about Journey that set them apart from other bands I also liked; I think the number of songs playing over and over on the radio maybe. I liked all of their songs and Steve Perry's voice was the best! I also liked the way he looked and moved in their videos. Well I hope the news of a new album coming out by Steve Perry is true and I really hope he does some touring, because I have never seen him in concert. He says he misses singing...so. And if by any chance Steve Perry reads this, PLEASE-you've got to have one more go around for your sake and your fans. And don't worry about being so perfect or comparing to what's out there now; you are just fine and you compare to no one else. Thank you for being a part of so many memories and hope you're well and happy.

Hi steve my name is michelle and recently my boyfriend asked me to look up online what happened to you. I was shocked when I heard someone else is in the band now. Just wanted to wish you well and I will go buy some old albums to remenise the teenage years.

Journey was hot during my high school days, and although I didn't listen faithfully, I always loved Steve Perry's voice. Now I'm a 48 year old mom, whose 11 year old son loves Journey. I have a master's in voice performance, sang classically for a while. And now after so much training and exposure to music, I am really starting to appreciate Steve Perry's voice and song-writing. What a soulful, lyrical quality he has. It's amazing. I'm so glad that my son has brought Journey and the irreplaceable Steve Perry back to my life.

just want to say thank you, thank you for making this old world a better place ,sickening really, short, fat, old, woman mooning over a singer..nuts eh???but at least it makes me smile when i listen to your music and my daughter and i sing out loud..not very prettily i might add, to all those wonderful songs..best ever..'It's just the rain'...still, as long as there is a volume knob on the radio, we can pretend we're back up singers, ha ha ha..if you never sing again..at least we have the memories..good luck with the producing too, my brother is a producer so if you see a short, young Jewish guy staring, it's because he has a mission to talk to you from me...not a stalker though,,don't worry, just a nutty English person...take care and thank you again just for being you..

Steve, You know Journey's been on tour and they were in my home town last night. I so much wish you would be back with Journey. They are NOT the same without YOU!! I refuse to buy a ticket to see them with their wanna-be authentic singer.I miss you and your voice so much! Wish you would reconsider and make Journey, once again, the greatest band ever!! Fans, just think about it. Steve is a private person and does not want to go that route again. Why should he? He has made trillions and has no need anymore for the money. You know the old saying" "Been there done that" I know he appreciates his fans loyalty. As we get older we change. We want different things. Life is short and Steve has been there and done that. He has the money to do other things. We love you Steve. Have a great Journey.

I have been a great fan of your since the 70's. I love the old Journey when you were the lead singer.Like the title state there is no Journey without Steve Perry because you are Journey. I watch them advertise Journey coming and that so called lead sing sucked. looks like he is lipsinging your songs. Since you are the only one that sing, with that emotion and sound we fell in love with. Johnathan and shaun are nuts for letting you go. They are not any good at all without you to carry them to the top as you did. We paid to see you sing and make us fell in love with your voice. You are a great talent.
