Anaheim Grove. Nov 22, Live in Concert | Reviewer: Jackie Mcknight | 12/23/11
November 22 was a beautiful day for a 4 and one half bus ride to Anaheim, home of the A's baseball stadium. Stephen was joined by Pegi Young and her band the Survivors and she sang 5 or 6 beautifully mastered songs and I loved the opening where the whole band got together and Stephen danced with her and joined her on cowbell. He soloed at 9:pm and all at once you knew he had his old sparkle back, he was witty, engaging and he played like the devil and sang like an angel. I got to talk to him before the show as I got there 4 hours before the show and he was sweet and gracious and talkative but he was very much in charge and looked busy. He played the usual favorites, some bluesy and slow some fired up and fantastically fierce. This was the great ending to a wonderful year and he never disappointed as the place was packed. If you get to see him solo as I have three times now you will know why he is such a treasure and you will never be the same again. Thank you Jackie Mcknight
Buffalo Springfiield @ the Fox -Stiils thinking about that show | Reviewer: Michael D. W. | 10/25/11
Saw both shows. Glad I was there - Stephen, Neil, and Richie seemed at humble R & R peace with each other. their voices were great. Richie Furray seemed very at ease bringing echoes of the father, Son and Holy ghost together. Very Cool shows..hope they temp finish the tour back in Oakland where it started this time..Amazing FOX Theatre..and they were gonna tear it down. Write a song about that Neil..Thanks for the shows -I was too young for the 60's ones. Would be good to include Jim Messina and turn up the volume. Such is life- great shows!
Connecticut performance, 10/21/11 | Reviewer: Carline Taillon Thurston | 10/22/11
Mohegan Sun Wolf Den/October 21, 2011: Stephen Still's ace guitar playing last night carried hundreds of happy hippies helplessly back into the best places of our past--the music and the beautiful lyrics set to that music! How can anyone's already fantastic acoustic skills have gotten even better? A cosmic mystery... The wolf den was surrounded by singing and (some of us) dancing fans, happy for a time, again, with our compadre Stephen. Even my 29 year old daughter was carried away, remembering lyrics she didn't know she knew! Thank you Stephen Stills for all you've done and for coming to Connecticut once again. You're welcome anytime...

He is my guitar hero since 1965 when i first heard Buffalo Springfield. Hitch-hiked to Oregon from Chicago to see "The Steve stills band" with the Memphis Horns in 1971.
Csn&y have seen 5 times. His songs like 4&20....Johnny's Garden and on and on...are superb. Keep going STEPHEN, i AM LISTENING.
One of the best! | Reviewer: Mario Brown | 12/8/09
One of the best guiter players I've heard up to today! Some of my favorites: Southern Cross, Love the one you're with, Black Queen, Got it Made, Helplessly Hoping, Dark Star, and the list could go on and on.
Also, on the 25th Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Concert, CSN rocked the night.
Thanks for the music D. Cosby, Mr. Stills, and Nash. P.S. N. Young had some great sounds with them too.
