i love this song. It ois my favorite song. It sometimes makes me cry because my boyfriend, well ex now used to sing this to me while playing his guitar and he cheated on me so it brings back memorys

My girlfriend cheated on me.. not that the song was written for the same kind of thing.. But the song fits my situation perfectly. Her true colours: how she really is - a cheater and she can lie to my face without hesitation. She's ugly like me: I 'ruined' her life when I found out and I lied a lot to a previous girlfriend. Therefore I feel that i'm ugly too. I still taste what I could never had because my feelings for here aren't over... And today, she made contact with me again so all the feelings that were stuffed down are all back again now... I'm crying at the moment listening to this song.. Great song really.

Well this song has second place in my personal top 5 favorite songs, right behind Nothing Else Matters by Metallica. Well I'm in more harder genres like Deathcore, Death metal, Grindcore... But I doubt that any of the bands I'm listening to rightnow whould replace thouse wonderfull songs. They make you feel so alive. Great songs by great bands ^^

This isn't my genre of music, but this band has some amazing songs, they really do. I saw them recently and Erin did three guitar solos at the end of the show and he went out into the middle of the crowd. We all sang along. He doesn't need his band he could do it on his on. I went for him, not for his band and not for the other bands there.

this song wasnt exactly made up on the spot on tour. aaron lewis had actually been playing it for years during solo sets he did when the band was starting off and he needed money. he'd rewritten the song several times before playing the final version on family values. chances are aaron lewis wouldve kept rewriting outside had it not become such a hit. frankly i dont think he had to. the subject isnt rocket science- it's about a crappy relationship. when you combine a simple topic with a lyricist as literal as aaron lewis, anything can work. actually he probably kept rewriting it to seem more literal. whatever, it's still an awesome song.
