Now, as for the song, it doesn't support war, it is meant to show the inner turmoil each American soldier faces in war. The confusion, the death, and the inability to simply sit and talk in the place of violence. It doesn't support war, if anything it reveals the hardships it causes. I've served, still am serving, and that is how the song speaks to myself and the many other men and women in my company. Anyone else who thinks otherwise can kiss our entire company's ass.
