Pure genius. | Reviewer: ralgex | 11/26/2008

I recently seen the pumpkins in Boston and Billy had such a petty attitude towards the fans because they want to hear what he does not want to play???? I understand that Billy wants to experiment more and "be alternative" but really, why deny the fans that music that made him famous, not to mention how beautiful it is. If I had to choose 2 albums to listen to for the rest of my life, it would be Gish and Siamese Dream.

Those two albums will bring to the surface many emotions in a serious music listener, especially the few who feel it deeper than anyone else, and there are not that many walking this planet.

Such a beautiful love song! | Reviewer: Tyler | 11/18/2008

Who knew that Billy Corgan could write such a beautiful love song. I know Im kinda lame and that the album gish has been out since 1991 but I am now just really listening to the whole album of which Ive never really heard before because like most people we are all still stuck on albums such as siamese dream and mellon collie and possibly even ava adore for the smashing pumpkins. gish really never got much credit or acclaim as far as Smashing pumpkins goes. But by far I think it is the best album by the Smashing Pumpkins and then Mellon Collie and Siamese Dream would probably end up in a tie for second place.

Crush is just an awesome example of Billy Corgan's writting talents and shows that even if you do heavy music like Alternative, grunge and metal, there is still room for those softer songs/love songs. You dont have to be Phil Collins or Marvin Gaye or play there style of music to write love songs. This song is definetly one of my favorite Pumpkins song!!

Holy Sh*t I Love This Song. | Reviewer: Jax420 | 1/9/2008

Yeah, so this has always been one of my favorite songs. It's so beautifully done in every aspect...the lyrics, melody, composition, sensitivity...everything. Smashing Pumpkins are the best band to ever exist.
