I just lost someone very close to me. This song describes how I feel, almost perfectly. I made a lot of mistakes and I messed up the best relationship that I've ever had. I'm not a corny little teenager either. I'm an adult, and I know what I want out of life. I messed up a bunch of times, and this weekend I said a lot of dirty and nasty things, and she left me. She's now two states away, and I'd give up everything I own to have her back. She was the only person in my life I ever loved like that, and I am the sole reason she ran away. I failed her, and I'm ready to make changes. But now it's too late. I am at rock bottom right now. I just want her. Nothing more. I can't believe I screwed up what I had. I hope that someday I can have her, but until that day comes she will rest in my head as the one person in my life that I truly loved...and nobody will ever replace her.

i love this song, it brings tears to my eyes, although it isnt my fave by slipknot, its up there. i currently have it on repeat. it makes me think about this girl i spent the night with but due to distance i dont think we could be together. but i won't let this build up inside of me...

This has to be one of the most amazing songs I've ever heard. I can almost relate. Some one so perfect and unexistant, but you can't help but love them. This had to be the greatest love song I've heard in years. Not to mention it's by my favorite band so it makes it 10 times better. Thank you, Slipknot, for such great music and phenominal talent to spark up my life.

Corey's voice is just perfect in this song too.

No doubt one of the greatest love songs of our generation... savor it, ladies and gentlemen. A song this beautiful and true at its core doesn't come along too often. It's a song about a woman who he loves so deeply... but his mind has made her more perfect than she truly is, likely due to the fact that he cannot have her and that love can have that effect, and things have slipped from reality over time. Now he's trying to cope with his inability to have the woman of his dreams. Of course, this is just speculation. I could definitely be wrong.

vermillion makes emfall asleep at night when i listen to it, i actualy switch on slipknot music and get into bed, it's amazing how they make me drift to sleep even though it's rock music..

i just love slinot. especially this song this is my favorite part of the vermillion trio. I also love the song psychosocial. im not sure if this happens to anyone else, but slipnot makes me fall asleep. serously. i pass out when i listen to it. which is botthersoem because i can't listen to the songs very well. i just pass out.

as david does. the man im completely and totally in love with, is someone i cant be with..due to age and parents. i miss him so much, this song has deep meaning to it, that only few could truthfully understand, its beautiful.

this is the best song i have ever heared. first i thought korn unplugged awesome, then i heared this song and i change my mind. its really the most beautifull song. sry for my english I´m from german..... ^^

I think this is one of the greatest songs that has ever graced my ears. It helps explain some of my thoughts, helps me understand someone. I know she isn't real, but I want her to exist. She is just a pigment of my imagination. But if I keep thinking about her not existing, it will destroy me, force me into depression even deeper than I already have (I'm pretty depressed). So therefore 'I can't make her real'. And its true, with my current thought process no one exists for me. I'm about to be 17 and I have never had a 'girlfriend' or anything of such. This is a great song and I listen to it as well as 'Danger - Keep Away' constantly, almost daily. EXCELLENT SONG!!!

This song is an absolutely awesome song. It shows that slipknot isn't just growling, crazy ass people- but that they have people that they love. The girl that I love is someone that I cannot have due to our age and parents. We love each other- we chose this as our song between us.

this song is just amazing, i mean they both are. but i like pt 2 better bc it shows that even tho he knows that "shes not real" and that he cant have her, he still wants her and it can be looked at on so many levels, not just a relationship.
