Coreys voice wont hold for another slipknot-tour/album, and Jim says all the time how much happier he is and feels in Stone Sour. Im talking MAX a last tour and thats it. Just listen to the live album, 9.0.. Corey just aint the same anymore, and you cant do a new slipknot record without a Corey Taylor in shape. He was phenomenal on the Iowa-tour, just fucking insane, incredible. Enter radio-friendly slipknot with Subliminal Verses and there you go: something went wrong. It could be age, it could be lack of voice-care (so to say). I love all their albums, and their self-titled one is my personal favourite, but its totally up to Coreys voice if slipknot will see the dawn of day in the future. I dont think the fans, including me, want to hear Corey SINGIN' through the songs, like Matt is doing in trivium. It just gets fucked up reactions.
