those Drums | Reviewer: fan | 3/14/13
I love this song, especially when the drums/percussion solo. Slipknot is my favorite band hands down and this song really just justifies why musically. They've really changed my life for reasons I won't say, but I'm sure many can relate to. So, yeah. Stay sic maggots. RIP #2
I'm a number that isn't equal to any of you | Reviewer: monster1234 | 6/4/12
My favorite part of the whole song is the title of my review. Besides that, I think that this song is about the mistakes someone makes, and the regrets. Also, it talks about the people in this world. I LOVE SLIPKNOT and I hopa they come to Panama soon.
Thanks.

What happens next... | Reviewer: Post Morterm Band Member | 8/6/10
This is one of Slipknot's best songs, along with Wait and Bleed, (sic), Spit It Out etc. And this is the inspiration that is getting me to start a band called Post Mortem. Although It sounds shit, it will be good (hopefully). But still. Back to Slipknot. Paul Gray died. And now it begins. Will they continue? Will they break up? Will they release a tribute album? I dunno. But all I want is for the music to come forth. I believe a tribute album AND tour would do them good. For the following 3 reasons:
A) Sales go up
B) Publicity goes up (affecting sales)
And most importantly:
C) It's respectfull. If any of the other members died, I'm sure Paul would want the same to happen.
Slipknot are brilliant, although at times their stuff seems solid (aka samey, samey) if you look closely, and are dedicated enough, you will find your piece of gold that could take you all the way to the top. For me, that gold was inspiration to start Post Mortem; and although we aren't at the top (as it really hasn't started yet), and we probably won't be; I feel my life has been changed.
R.I.P. Paul Gray - Never Forgotten
-HYPERVENTILATES- | Reviewer: Vermillion | 2/1/10
This song kicks ass! I LOVE the drums (plus joey're mega sexy!) Vocals = AMAZING! Guitar makes me circle around the floor headbanging in extreme air guitar motions and overall this and all other slipknot songs make me hyperventilate! Anyone who disses them has issues dude because slipknot is like the metal boot that kicks the ass of the world!
They know you | Reviewer: Cermik | 1/4/10
This is the modern poetry! This is pure translation of feelings into words, using additional dimension, music. That's what gives you creeps, what makes you see that's there's definitely somebody else having the same feelings as you.
Excellent First | Reviewer: Anonymous | 12/1/09
This song is amasing as the first song of the Subliminal Verses (not counting the Prelude ..) I love the double singing, the bass, and the overall heaviness to it all which, though like someone said, can't par with Iowa, still can come close, and it is much better than most songs musically and lyrically. Try listening to the lyrics if the music is somehow not good enough for you ... if that doesn't work out, you're either a pop freak and you need to get out or just an intolerant fag. This music IS genius, and is expected by none other than SlipKnoT. Maybe I am biased, it is still true. Stay (sic).
FUCKING AMAZING BAND | Reviewer: Antionne Edwards | 12/1/09
I started out with Linkin Park as my first rock band being black and all it was kind of weird being the only black guy in D.C. to listen to rock then I hit Slipknot almost 10 years later i'm still (AND ALL WAYS BE) A FUCKING MAGGOT so any of you who say Slipknot sucks, is gay etc fuck you ummm oh yeah and now im starting a band of my own and guess what our inspiration is?????? SLIPKNOT MAGGOTS FOR LIFE
this song r@pes | Reviewer: boomboombeesley | 10/7/09
Mick, Jim, Joey, and Corey just combine all their professionalism into this and just build a stunning piece of work. Mick and Jim: AWESOME GUITAR DUO! The drums are also nice and heavy. And Corey, well, he just buttr@pes it all with some of the best lyrics in all of their songs!
Ahhh. | Reviewer: .exexute | 4/3/09
Consistantly good throughout every album they put out. Overall, Subliminal Verses wasn't up to par with Iowa (which imo is their best album), but they had more than a few monster songs.. This being one of 'em.

Amazing song with amazing lyrics.this song is great for all aspects-music,super drumbeats, highly realistic lyrics, everything in it.But here is a point for those who dont understand or take their lyrics seriously and keep associating them with numetal, emotive hardcore, etc like fucking things.Their songs(especially blister) are entirely about the world and its people, their animal-like mentality, their repeating of mistakes again and again(you make the mistakes and immediately forget them) and before realization time is over(to find the time is to lose the momentum). So,most people dont apprehend their lyrics properly. Each Slipknot song has a deeply angraved great message in it-message to the negative minded, weak world along with a unique style of hardcore, brutal inspiration.Thats all about slipknot-except being a great band and producing high quality music they a great social-revolution motive. We all want slipknot to keep on producing this stuff.....

yeah this is one of their greatest songs, their musicianship shows through really well. And monkey man your a fagget, joey jordison is probably the best metal drummer of all time. you can't compare him to bohnam you fagget. and you can't say he sucks cause his beats aren't "funky enough" cause theyre fucking metal. not funk.
Best ever! | Reviewer: holy ghost | 1/23/09
This is definitely one of the most powerful songs in their impressive arsenal. The song is an adrenlin rush from start to finish-and the drumming-well, it hits your soul and makes you want to pick up the sticks and rock on.
my favorite slipknot song(at the moment) | Reviewer: ben | 7/25/08
this is probably my favorite song of slipknot's. of course it is pretty hard to pick one song but this is the one i am enjoying the most right now. i think this song is great showcase of how good corey taylor really is. his lyrics on this track are excellent as well as his singing in the chorus. as much as i like slipknot's early stuff where corey was growling and dropping the f bomb on every track the blister exists is one of many examples off of subliminal verses that shows he can do way more than growl and cuss. his work with stone sour also exemplifies that. alot of people talk about how slipknot went soft on subliminal verses this song proves they didnt. the blister exists could very well be the heaviest slipknot song ever.
