hey ppl jst another slipknot fan.omg i love the new slipknot album.by far i like all the songs.i'm a drummer and i wanna see the notes that joey plays for slipknot cause i wanna learn how to play jst like him it be so fuckin sweet.well anyway long live slipknot and the fans.

ahh!! i dont know where to start with slipknot...there is soo much to say! i love them so much! they changed me a lot...i would be so different (in a bad way) they rock, simply because they have awesome lyrics, and the guitars and the drums and everything is just so cool!! im glad that they are the first metal band that i have ever listened to, because if i listened to anything else first, i wouldnt have all this understanding of everything....its just really hard for me to explain what they have done for me....when i first listened to them i didnt think that in a year i would be crying because i couldnt go to a concert.....but i did! and it makes me so happy that there are a lot of people out there that actually understand what they are trying to do and just understand what the lyrics are....you guys rule!!

slipknot is an awesome band, i have been listening to then sine they released there self titled album and i thought it was amazing, but then iowa came out and i was blown away, it is probably one of the best cds i have ever bought, then when subliminal verses came out i was actually i little disappointed as it just wasnt the same as the others, but still a very good album which showed how good corey taylor can sing, which really shut up the haters of slipknot, because most people i know say slipknot is shit because all they do is scream, then i let them listen to vermillion pt2, and there like who sings this? and i tell them its slipknot and i havnt heard many complaints from them anymore.
but as that other guy said before, joey jordison's drumming is quite average, as people say that he is one of the fastest drummers around, but that isnt true, the only reason he seems fast is because he uses two foot pedals, i was watching a drum solo from the drummer of dream theatre the other day and that showed much faster drumming and better beats than what joey does. but i disagree with when you said look at how many drum solo's there are in the songs, because nearly all of those solo's are from clown and chris not joey jordison.

I agree with those guys who said what slipknot really is.
Their lyrics just give you an explanation for the most deep feelings in your heart, I also can fall asleep with their songs or when I feel sad I just listen to them and that always made me feel better, even if am crying i can hear them becuse i know their music will calm me down... you just have to pay attention to the music and their lyrics,and you'll understand the message within and it's not hard, even I,beeing mexican and not having english as a nature language, can understand every word of their lyrics, but something that you should know is that if you have a normal life without problems you may never understand what they mean. Only people who are strong and have to face many troubles in their life can feel related with them because that people are the ones who have the most deep feelings.

i dont see what the problem whith adults and slipknot. i mean they're just a band making music for people to enjoy(and they're doing an awsome job of it). my dad thinks slipknot suck, wich dosn't bother me, but then he went and hid MY slipknot cd because ha thinks that they sware to much but ive just bought vol 3 (the subminal verses) and i havent heard a single sware word yet, so shove that up your *@$ dad. ps micke thomson is the best guitarist in the world

now before anyone has a go at me, i think slipknot is alright but compared to bands like dimmu borgir they are nothing joey isnt a crap drummer he is actully pretty average, the band is dominated by drums, if you dont belive me then listen to how many drum solos in songs there is, not a great band

Man these guys rock, none of their songs suck and no other band can beat the lyrics nor the style.

Slipknot has to be considered one of the best bands of this time period. I've played almost all of thier songs over and over on my CD player, and everytime I hear something new. My parents and my friends that don't like this type of music think that I'm insane for listening to Slipknot and are surprised by the fact that I haven't killed someone yet, but anyone that actually listens carefully to the songs will find the poetry that Corey Taylor has placed into the lyrics along with the energizing drum and guitar riffs provided by the triplet of Joey, Mick, and Jim. I find Slipknot a very talented band and I amaze people at the fact that I can fall asleep to any of their CDs. The lyrics can relate to anyone at any moment. They have written a song for every feeling anyone could have. I love it and I hope that more people can find what I see in thier music to be true

Slipknot are amazing. Their style of music may be quite loud and many people say they cant understand a word, but for the people that can hear every word, and then get to know the words all off by heart, their words have clarity, meaning and purpose. There is almost always a song that relates to you in some way, and sometimes you can get different meanings out of the songs that are less obvious, but still just as true. Some parents dont like their children listening to it because they think it will make the child angry and give them "funny ideas". I am 13 and their songs dont make me angry, agressive or abusive in any way. I dont know what peoples problem is with slipknot. They just give me a clearer view on life and most of the time they actually calm me down.
