I think Slipknot is the best band ever, I know it might sound silly but after I began to listen to Slipknot I found my life "complete". Now I've found myself and I'm no longer as shy and unsure of myself as I was before. I haven't listened to Slipknot for a very long time, since january I think, but I love every album, even thought I din't like Mate, Feed, Kill, Repeat to much, but I think that Slipknot is a great band! It's something with Slipknot that I can't see in some other bands, they don't just scream and play the guitarr, their songs mean something, every song is about something important in my opinion. Every song is different and every song means something to me!

my addiction to slipknot and hard rock as genre started with my first hearing of this song. Man, i didnt think that rock can be so emotional, so much-telling, so scary... "Purity" is included in my "beautyest songs ever" playlist.

slipknot is definatly one of my favorite bands but their new music is horrible. ive seen them live mutiple times and splurged myself in exitement but i went and saw them at mayhem fest and its not the same.maggot 4 life though!

im respondn to the person who wrote this. Just saying i agree with you. But isn't this what Slipknot wanted? Before every show/album they prepare physically and mentaly to help their fans, so its only right if we use it to help us with life coz thats what musics there for. Us Maggots feed of Slipkont. the only reason the majority of people like bands like slipknot is because they believe that their lives are so bad that the song(s) illistrate thier problems no one actually looks into the value of the song or what the writer is trying to express people are very selfish

The song meaning was about a book Corey read and it was about a girl who was abducted.
They couldn't release this song because the Author got upset. Corey thought it was a true story but he was wrong it was fiction. So it was copyright.

This is such a great song.
Who ever left the review about the meaning of the chorus being about a little girl is so wrong. You are not a slipknot fan, anyone who knows slipknot knows how much this refers to the sickness inside.
the only explanation might be the follow up that relpaced this song on the re-release "Me Inside"
