slipknot really are amazing, they are masters at the lyrical arts and i think they are pure genious. all their songs, including this one, all have meaning. people say they are gay or they suck dick, then they come up with something immature like... say: dicknot. or shitknot. those people can get bent and go fuck some random dude from the internet. i never used to like metal. but slipknot really got me into it. they are THE BEST BAND TO EVER WALK EARTH. stay (sic) :P

Sorry, but they were never and never will be a Jazz band. Before Slipknot ('Anal Blast', for you real Maggots out there), they were a Funk/Speed metal/Post-grunge mix-up.All members being metally trained, with the exception of Corey, as he was not in 'Anal Blast'. So no, they were never a Jazz band.

I read most of the comments in hear and i have to agree. People take one look at the costumes they where and automatically think that they are selfish hating emos, even if they did sacrifice a goat on stage. But are they any different to your 50 cents or eminems that confess in their songs that they killed someone, raped their girlfriend and then shat on their kids while smoking a shitload of drugs? Besides slipknot don't only do metal, before they became a hit slipknot used to be a jazz band!

This is a classic example of Slipknot. At first glance it just seems to be evil and against the world. However, if you look at the lyrics then you can find deep meanings in them. This song along with All Hope Is Gone! and Wherein Lies Continue, are two of the best songs ever written. The help with emotional strain with the intricousy of their lyrics and the have conflicting meanings to the first opinion. All Hope Is Gone is actually a very inspiring song: "We'll find a way when all hope is gone." Although people complain about the songs being Emo... So what? Some Emo people have decent taste in music. Doesn't mean the songs are Emo. Well... I am Emo. This band has got me through some hard times. I would probably not be here right now if it weren't for Slipknot.
People say they don't like Slipknot. The reason is because they are scared of them because they are different to what everyone else listens to. It's better than mixing a bunch of songs together, slapping in some random words and singing about how drugs are awesome.

People = Shit is the best maths equation ever. Slipknot are not geniuses but instead masters of the lyrical arts.

it's 2:20am, i've just gotten in from a complete catastrophe of a night. i have been loosing the will to live all week and yet this song just works, it brings u back around.

i don't know what i would do without songs like these, slipknot are awesome and i will be a Maggot till the day i die, but people have to listen to more than one band for songs like these, the songs that are really worth listening to

To tell you the truth i used to hate slipknot but a very good friend of mine gave me all there ablums and told me to try them and i did and i fucking love that dude now (not litterally)

whenever anyone asks what i listen to its emdietly 'you faggot ,there shit, you suck blah bla blah' i know for a fact most of them havent heard any slipknot and just go with the stupid sterotpyes i think most of there songs are about all that espcaily this one!

This song has become my personal philosophy on life and my best escape from it. Whenever im sick of people treating me like shit I just listen to this song and it gets rid of all the aggression.

Slipknot are the greatest 9 people to ever walk this earth, I think when people hate on them that 99% of thos people havnt heard there real shit, people just base slipknot on songs Like Duality or Before I forget...try listening to the shape, prosthetics, Gently or Diluted then maybe people will realise how great they really are
