This song is just straight hate. You feel it in the lyrics, in the guitars, the drums, everything. Corey Taylor is just letting out everything on this song. When he says "I wanna slit your throat and fuck the wound", he's speaking to every person who ever fucked him over and took advantage of him. The rest of band was pissed off as all hell when they recorder this album, so instead of killing each other, they took out their anger on their instruments. Every note and every word of this song bleeds with pain and anger and torment. This is Slipknot at their absolute best.

What I don't like about the people that leave reviews on this site representing us lovers of metal is that they swear every couple of words. Seriously, there is a whole dictionary that could replace an expletive. Corey Taylor himself proved this with a whole album of zero explicit content. Alright if you want to use one or two, but the excessive use of curse words makes you seem like you never went to school. I don't particularly want those sorts of people who swear because they can't think of any more words to say standing for the metal community.

I listen to this song every time I'm so mad I can't even see straight. When Corey says "Hate ain't enough to describe me, somewhere between screaming and crying", it really makes me think of that point of frustration where you can't even think of how to react. Whenever I have to deal with inconsiderate people or shitty situations, I always know that listening to Disasterpiece can help me get out all the anger so I don't have to take it out on the people that don't deserve it. All of SlipKnoT's songs have an amazing ability to harness emotions through words and notes and give you an outlet. They are one of the all time best bands to create music. Stay (sic).

The message is clear and only stupid people can´t understand it. Even the chaotic drums in this song represent pain and suffering. Corey is the greatest fucking singer ever. His voice in this song blows your fucking mind of. Surfacing and this song are the biggest Hate anthems ever. Of course that there are heaviest bands but none can do what Slipknot does. I bet that they wouldn't last five minutes doing what Slipknot does. I was just reading some of the comments below, because I am bored as fuck. Seriously, there arn't words to describe the boredom I feel.

Slipknot is a harcore band, probably one of the most hardcore, because nothing quite gets your blood pumping than some of there songs. Another band I really liked is V-Mob, which has slipknot's old singer before correy joined the scene.
