I was all in for the screaming and anger, but not what I thought were "mopey, boring songs to trip to." A few weeks ago after buying Vol 3: The Subliminal Verses, I decided to give the song a chance. I began to enjoy the melody and eventually could stand listening to it. But, it wasn't until just last night that I understood what the song was supposed to mean to me because that night I accepted that the girl I'm in love with is the girl that I hate most. Based on her actions, I immediately felt a connection between this song and my life. The forementioned night she grew angry with me for mistreating her and said she would never talk to me again. But, later that night, I heard this song and decided I had to get my say in ("I won't let you walk away without hearing what I have to say"). I told her all she had done to me, how she never changed, and always broke my heart. She usually didn't give two shits what she did to me and would ignore me, but this time she realized what she had been doing to me all this time. We are now on speaking terms, and I can date her if I ever feel like it, which just goes to show that this song, it's so mind-opening, I feel I have to share my interpretation. Don't let the one you love leave without hearing what you have to say. (Btw I'm only 15, another reason this song is so powerful. In my mind when I hear the words, What If I never saw you again? Id die right next to you in the end... That was very hard to pick up his headphones hit rewind to hear what his last song he heard was! But see we get to the end and no matter how much times I listen to it.. where it says I Wont let you walk away without hearing what I have to say...
