Yet even to this day, it still endures which is the mark of a great song and so many of Paul Simon's songs still endure because of their greatness, like 'Kathy's Song' which is still one of my favorites still to this day and that song was written more than 40 years ago. 40 YEARS!!!. There are so few artists who can write so many songs of such substance that might endure for 5 years, much less 20, 30, and certainly 40. I am also quite fond of 'The Only Living Boy In New York'.
