Season for Non-Violence | Reviewer: Joan | 11/12/2008
Our small women's choir will be singing this song at the gathering to open the Season of Non-Violence. A perfect song for that occasion. Timeless. Our director has written parts for many singers. If you're interested, I could email them to you. JRS
ode to Mason Proffit | Reviewer: charactr | 1/24/2008
I also have sung this song since hearing The Talbot Bros of Mason Proffit sing it to us at their concert in 1971 in Iowa. It has stuck with me every since then along with a lot of their other songs like "Hope" (for a world of giving and hope for a world of caring Lets live together!). I have and still listen to Mason Proffit all the time. Especially when I hear of something wrong in the world!! Which is often nowadays!! You can still find their music re-released on CD! Go out and buy it and enjoy. Charactr

This morning I heard this song in a CBC tribute to June . I remembered the song was written by Ed McCurdy in 1951. Too bad we haven't learned anything.
A great hymn to peace | Reviewer: Mike G | 9/23/2006
Every time I hear this, I get tears in my eyes. What a gentle, peaceful song written in harsh times. Maybe we could use this again today!
I sang this song 30 years ago! | Reviewer: Izzy | 4/17/2006
I'm from the north of Scotland and have been singing this song for over 30 years! Brilliant!
