The song comes from the book about a girl who is raped and murdered by her neighbour and watches her family from her heaven. As she watches her family gradually move on, she realises she must aswell. It's about a girl that on her way home from school gets raped and murdered,and while her family looks for her she's already dead and in her own heaven watching over her family and the guy that murdered her.
