I recently had to bury a friend who took her life. I was sitting at home when I received the call, at first I couldn't understand anything her mother was saying, but after a few she told me Rachel had just shot herself in the heart, and there was very little the doctors could do to save her. I rushed to the hospital and took her hand in mine, she looked up at me and started to tear up, I asked her why she was crying, and she said cause she knew I was mad at her. I leaned down and kissed her on the forehead and told her I could never be angry with her. We talked for what seemed like hours, she told me why she did it, and when she knew her time was coming to an end she looked me in the eyes, and asked me to play this song at her wake, I had never heard this song till that day, and any time I hear it I will know I am not alone cause she's in Heaven watching over me till the day I join her . . .

Mary, I too had the experience losing someone I love. My husband was a herion addict,we lived apart due to this addiction but I was there for him. He hung himself, I believe he thought he was giving us a "second chance". Its been a year and a half and it still hurts. He left behind 3 terrific kids. This song reminds me of him.

This is really a great song!
As the guy before me said, it's actually Halley's comet, but it should appear in 2061 again, nevertheless these calculations aren't at 100%^^
Funny thing to mention is that the author Mark Twain was born 1835, 30th november, two weeks after Halley's comet appeared, and he wished to life as long till the comet appeared again. He died 1910, 21st april, one day after the comet has been seen again^^
His wish came true ;)

for the supposed "Hayley's comet" it is actually Halley's comet and it is named after the great Edmund Halley for discovering the comet in 1736. He tinkered with a map until it showed 341 stars. The first time Halley saw the comet was on the island of st. Helena and he developed a theory that the comet will appear every 76 years and in 17! Sadly, Halley was not there to see if his theory was true. Halley died in 1746. Halley's comet will appear in the year 2062. Be sure to mark your calenders!

This song is the best song i hav ever herd. It reminds me of this girl alex zahra that i first seen in year 6, the moment i seen her she took my breath away i felt like i could do anything as long as she was by my side now i am in year 10 and i still can tell her i love her. She told me that she isnt ready for a relation ship but i dont want to take my relation ship fast i want to take it slow.

im doing this song for an english presentation for music is poetry. it sso sad and touching. i know just how you gys feel. for you howie, i had the same thing happen. my boyfrien who i was best friends with for my whole life shot himself in the head on his dads bead right after i left his house as an act of defiace cuz his dad said he didnt have it in him. what did he get out of it. its not like it proved anything other than he did, and now were all left here to make sense of it without him. he didnt get to see his dads reaction, and its not like he got to benefit from getting revenge or anything, so what was the point???im sorry for anyone who has had to deal with loosing a loved one especially by their own hand... every 16 minutes somebody dies by suicide...every 17 minutes someone is left to make sense of it.

i read the hardship of ppl bad times been there had exs and kids hurt ex wife die kids sex molested but all in all kept going not afaid of death (not going to kill myself)but ready for my time to come.but this song hear for the first time touch my heart and want it played at my funnel to remind everyone that life can be great but when its your time be happy its gets better

I've been trying to figure out what the say after "i just saw haley's comet"....everything says "she waved" even the Shinedown cd. shoot-ing is the only thing that sounds remotely familiar because he def. isn't saying "she waved".
