Not about God | Reviewer: Anonymous | 11/19/07
It's about a woman who has hit a rough patch in her relationship, and it's time to see if they will sink or swim. She's unsure of herself, and of her lover's ability to handle all that comes with it. She's afraid of his answer, hence the "lie to me, I promise I'll believe"
someone relates to me!! | Reviewer: Shiloh | 11/12/07
Heh, yeah. This song's just strengthened some of my beliefs about my relationship with my boyfriend, as well as made me realize that I'M A WHIRLWIND OF A HEART! Really. This song is about the girl wondering if the guy is gonna be strong enough to bear with her ups and downs... After ten months of that, I just realized he is strong enough to be my man.
It's all about God | Reviewer: Anonymous | 10/9/07
She is writing to God...We all have those moments whether we believe or not, but she needs someone to be strong and she is asking if that man is God. At the end she says, I promise I'll believe if your strong enough...
i love this song | Reviewer: jessicaa | 7/2/07
this song has a lot of meaning.
what i get out of it is that a girl really needs a guy to love her, and when she feels alone she needs him the most.
the part where it goes when i just don`t care, when i throw punches in the air, are you stronge enough to be my man, this basicly shows that when times get rough are you gonna run away from it or are you gonna be stronge enough and get through it..
All my life I have felt this way...... | Reviewer: Angie | 6/24/07
I don't think it necessarily has anything to do w/being Bi-Polar. "Cause you can't change the way I am...are you strong enough to be my man?"... I identify with this song.. maybe she is looking for someone to change her? I don't know but this song has always held true meaning for me
love it!! | Reviewer: Rebecca Carvalho | 6/20/07
ok i totally luv this song..and its sooo true especially
right now.."When I've shown you that I just don't care
When I'm throwing punches in the air"..."Cause you can't change the way I am
Are you strong enough to be my man?"....i dunno just all of it...
Identifying? | Reviewer: Nancy | 4/30/07
If you identify with the feelings in this song, I know I did, you may want to consider this: I found out that my punch-throwing rages were at the opposite end from my broken melt-downs. Now I have medication for it and no longer have to make up rules as I go; I am stabilized from Bi-Polar (manic-depressive) disorder. It is a sad song, but livin' life like that is sadder. There is NO man strong enough to fix someone in that shape. Check into it!
Strong Enough | Reviewer: T.J. Ryerse | 4/15/07
I LOVE this song. It is so so true, but it could also go the other way. I'm just a woman lookin for her "MAN".
Just one question. | Reviewer: jim elder | 2/28/07
Yeah, I'm strong enough to be your man.
I'm just strong enough to know that I need to answer this question: are you woman enough to be worth it?
Probably not.
