"No" is one of Shakiras best songs yet. The lyrics are so captivating whether you understand it or not. The first time that I heard this song was on tv and it just blew me away. The lyrics are really beautiful. You can tell how she really feels by the way she sings. This is what real music should be, when you actually feel the singers pain. Its just a gorgeous song with a lot of meaning. I myself don't understand Spanish so clearly but the whole music and tone just caught me. Excellent song.

This song is such an amazingly emotional and powerful song. You know Shakira writes from her heart... things that she has experienced and it makes for beautiful, if sometimes heartwrenching art. From her interviews, singing, lyrics and other qualities, you can feel that she's a very passionate person. I hope the English market picks it up because it has the power to transcend language barriers just as La Tortura is doing.

I don't even speak Spanish, but I love this song. I did look up the English translation for the lyrics, by the way, so I do know what she's talking about! But when I first heard it, I could really hear the emotion in her voice, and that in itself told me what the song was about. This is just a really beautiful, emotional song that can speak to you whether you understand Spanish or not.

you know those songs tht come along just in the right moment of your, and it seems tha someone looked deep into your thoughts, and wrote a song about them, well this is what this songs represents right now, a full description of my feelings, except that I'm only 22.....this song, altough only has 4 estrofas (don't know the word in english) describes things that at somepoint men or women have experienced, and you just can't take more.....for me the poetry of shakira is one of the bests!!!!
