The Reviews about How Do You Do (page 4/ 6)
------ performed by Shakira

Beautiful song | Reviewer: FloOo | 5/29/07

SHAME ON YOU, PEOPLE WHO DON'T ACCEPT THE REALITY!!

Confirmed | Reviewer: Anonymous | 5/26/07

I was raised Catholic and became a Catholic school teacher for two years. As I matured I turned away from the religion realizing... who should say which religion is right. I do believe in God but I don't believe that I have to follow a book. I really like this song because it confirms my belief that all religions lead to the same path. It doesn't matter what book you read or what God you pray to...all that matters is that you believe in God and good.

Blame in the wrong place | Reviewer: Anonymous | 5/22/07

I am a believer, but I can see where the queswtions come from. I think we have all wondered why things go so wrong. However, the answer is God gives us all the choice to do good or to do evil. When evil things happen, it's because of those who choose to do evil rather than good to their fellow human. We can't blame God for our choices or for the choices of our fellow man. Without this freedom of choice we would all be robots. God's will for us is to love one another, but people don't always choose that path.

Whats the problem? | Reviewer: Christian | 5/6/07

My estimations of Skakira went up tremendously after hearing this song. Before, I just thought she was soulless pop-star but it seems she does actually think and wonder about God, which is more than a lot of people do. I Love Jesus and think this song is great.

Wtf! | Reviewer: amie* | 4/26/07

we are all free of "believing" or not! damn... is that a reason for hating a person? Or even to say she's wrong... and she should be burning in the fire of hell...? im 17 yrs old... and... i like the song... kind of... im personally NOT a believer... believe in.. what? Probably i would believe in god.. but .. church? i hate the church... they manipulate everything... and they condition us... i hate them! they say what's wrong and what's not, why? because they are under God's name? that's not even a reason! many people who lives under the church conditions don't enjoy some stuffs that they could... because religion prohibits it.. god is probably DEAD! and if he's alive... he won't say all that church says.. shakira can publish all her thoughts.. she has always done it.. that's what an artist do.. even if people like it or not.. !!

All she's doing is putting on god's level, and talking.. well, claiming to him.. and asking some of the questions we've all think about once in our lifes... and.. that makes her an evil person? PEOPLE PLEASE! this is a FREE WORLD! i can believe in a stone if i want! and that won't make me evil, or dangerous.. or just hateable!.. all of us have our own beliefs.. and we should respect everyone else.. stop claiming on shakira.. she's just expressing herself!

basic | Reviewer: afroditi Krassa | 4/13/07

I am impressed by how easily some people are shocked. You are shocked with some fairly basic lyrics of a pop song, but not by your leaders taking you to war for oil and money. Not just the political leaders, but the church too, the religious leaders, some of the worst scum on earth.
Shakira sex on legs, her english is basic, what she is trying to express is clever but not sophissticated enough. But it does not matter, it is enough to watch and listen to her!

not that much serious! | Reviewer: Anonymous | 4/6/07

I think she doesnt believe in what she sings ! just want to performe a song ... like Eminem when he sang "cleaning out my closet " about his mother, but after that he told everyone that he likes his mother so much ! n it wasnt that way . these singers just want to get more attention but in a bad way . I like the rhythm of this song but dont like the meaning cause it makes me feel embarrassed.anyhow I still like HER !!!

geniuus | Reviewer: Claudeeuh | 3/13/07

ok... yes its an iffy subject to sing about but she knew what she was getting herself into and still decided to write it. Shes insanely smart and better than any of the girls that sing songs askin guys to loosen up their buttons...i would rather llisten to someone with a brain who is concerned about the world around her. Everyone has a right to their opinion but if you dont like it dont listen to it. Shes not the first to say anything like this, Modest Mouse, The Beatles, John Lennon. They all have said edgy things. Joan Osborne sings "what if God was one of us? Just a slob like one of us." and nobody freaked out. Shakira is amazing and i like her even more now. She's not talking bad about God she just wants some answers like alot of other people.

These reviews prove the point | Reviewer: T. Mooney | 2/26/07

I don't think the song (it's only a song) dishonors anyone's religion. It makes the point that fighting to protect His honor (who certainly needs no protecting) to impose our view of Him on the unwilling (and each of us seems God differently) is and always has been a major problem for humanity -- and here we are with people hating Shakira and each other in His name, all over again. Obviously the song is badly needed.
