Awhile back I learned of Serj, my son is a fan of System of a Down. One day he used my car and left his SOAD cd in the player. I drove to work
listened to the lyrics, I was amazed by the words, the sound the voices. You could really feel what the artist was trying to get across. So I asked my son about aparticular song and the voice this wonderful singer had. He said oh Mom that's Serj Tankian. He has several cds out. I was in awe when I heard Serj had his own. cd. I really enjoy listening to Serj, one of my all time favorites is Empty Walls and Sky is Falling. Serj is a very talented artist,our generation is very blessed to have known Serj Tankian.

Serj is one of the few remaining geniuses of music.
He can mix rock, jazz, orchestra, and make a perfect combination of rythms, melodies, everything.
Personally, it's My favourite artist, BUT he is not an ordinary artist, because today, every singer or musician is an artist.
He es a truly artist, not like a singer or musician, He is an artist because what he does is art, nothing else but art.
