I never got to know her and see her as she sang, but i watched the movie every day till i was like 13 and im now 15. Selena had infuenced me to become a singer. I was 5 when she passed and I remember always dancing to Her music till this day I have Live Selena and I remember getting it when I was 4! I never really understood what happened to her because of course I was little I remember watching the movie when I was about 7 and saying she didn't die how could she have made this movie of course not knowing it was JLO but now I think back and I really do get emotional its so sad knowing she's not here and I hate it because in my heart I feel that it shouldn't have went out like that. I never will understand how Yolanda had the heart to take such a beautiful life! I wouldn't stop watching it over and over. I loved how beautiful you were, how wonderful and meaningful your music was and how much you worked for to get to where you were then. You have been my lifetime idol. You've inspired me and made me a stronger person through your music. If only you stayed a little longer. I'd be at your concerts, buying from your clothing line. But unfortunately, your time was cut short. And now, I'm working hard to get to my dreams and achieve my goal. I think my passion for singing came from you.
