This is quite simply, the worst cover I have ever heard. I felt like throwing my computer away and poking a hot rod into my ears. Yes it is that bad. Pink Floyd's version was way better. Anyone who disagrees is probably deaf.
Awful Rip-off | Reviewer: Anonymous | 4/1/05
The Scissor Sisters have totally murdered what is one of my all-time favourite tracks. The original meaning is totally lost in this mangled version that sounds more like a Bee-Gees impression. The worst cover version since the Pet Shop Boys attempted "Where The Streets Have No Name" - no, on second thoughts it's even worse than that!
Travesty | Reviewer: Anonymous | 12/30/04
This is just a lame, half-arsed cover of a classic old Pink Floyd song.
The original, found on "The Wall", is a lot better. This sack of poo brings nothing new, and is so lazy and 9th rate that it's bordering on P-Diddy.
Scissor Sisters' Slick Sound! | Reviewer: Anonymous | 7/21/04
This track was the first single they release when they came to the UK - and is quite simply amazing! Everyone will love it from bee-gees and elton john loving parents to teenagers with taste!!! And if your dont fall in love with it rite away, it will definitely grow on u till u want to listen to it over and over, sing in a key that is way to high for u, marry it and then have its babies! LOL! But seriously, a very catchy and throughly excellent song! Well done Scissor Sisters!! Hip Hip Hurray!!
P.S. if u havent heard the song before now, u gotta get ur hands on it and especially watch out for the intro to the song - so simple yet so catchy - totally cool!
