It's ridiculous how much I love the message they get across with this song. I cry when I listen to this song. Partly because it makes me think about sad things, and secondly because we are such a repetitive race. It's pathetic, isn't it? I love Say Anything's raw, edgy, sound. They tell you things the way they are. They're blunt and straight forward. I love them. They have good lyrics, too. OH YEAH, I can't forget the fact that they make AMAZING music. The "in crowd" is worth nothing it is all but a stupid thing the media says to kids to get them to believe it is right to starve yourself then be health and they starve themselves, why?, because they think thin is what they are suppose to be. Let me tell you i may not be in the "in crowd" but i have good friends that would do anything for me. No not follow me and bow down to me but they'll help me. The friends in the "in crowd" no matter how hard you try, they aren't gonna be there sometimes and that is wrong. This is a song about "be who you want to be you may get farther then you thought you would." People and teens need to realize that it isn't always the best thing to be in the "in crowd" Sometimes you just need to make friends that actually like you for who you are. Teens face problems with whom they want or may not want as their friends. "Oh this kid looks scummy" "I don't want to be his friend he is smelly" So what if someone is like that. Get to know them you may actually find out if you have something in common with him. This song symbolizes the struggle some teens have against "jocks" and "bullies" but you know if you get picked on you can always stand up for yourself. All you have to do is not listen to them. Ignore the shit out of them. If it gets physical, fight back, don't mind what your parents say. When i first heard and read "Admit it" it amazed me because it stands for what i believe. I was amazed someone else other then me reconize the life sentence of not being in the "in crowd." I stand up and say screw you people for not noticin who is being bullied in your school. Stand up for someone today. They may be the best friend you'll ever have in your life. i guess? | Reviewer: caleb | 8/19/07 i absolutely love say anything, but this song is an example of what it sings about. i think that pointing out the fact that there are people like that makes this song guilty to the "nonconformist" movement which in turn is conformism in itself. however, i do love the music part of this song. my favorite part is "...guitar. guitar go!" before the guitar solo. if you ask me, being yourself and setting your own standards for the way you dress and behave is the best way to show that you are truly unique.
