I think about that scene whenever I hear this song. I also get the lump in the throat and some tears. And same with that episode. Doesn't matter how many times you see it! Sarah McLaughlin's music is so beautiful. I enjoy listening to her at anytime, it really helps on those down days where you just feel like crying. First, I have to say that if you ever watch that episode, always have a box of tissues handy. It is acclaimed by many for being one of the saddest moments in Television history, and the haunting Sarah Mclachlan song enhances the final moments like no other song really can. This song has such a deep, memorable air and Sarah's voice rings like bells throughout it. I'm a big Sarah M. fan now, and it's not just because her song was in one of my favorite episodes of my favorite TV series. ;) But I have to say, no matter how many times I watch Becoming, pt. II, I always cry. It never gets old, and although I've seen it about 100 times and will probably see it 100 times again, I'll always end up a basketcase at the end, and most of that has to do with the tone set by this remarkable song.
