Wow, stupidity | Reviewer: D rock | 6/10/09
I've seen some comments about this song being about Anthonys dad raping him. FUCK OFF. You're an idiot :D This song could be about a few things but i'm practically SURE it's not about his dad raping him. Have fun arguing btw.
ITS ABOUT | Reviewer: RYAN | 6/5/09
His girlfriend after she told him after seven years when they werent together anymore that he would forget all about her. So he wrote this song seven years after to prove that he wouldnt forget..hence the title.
yup | Reviewer: collin | 5/12/09
i agree with basically everybody that says this song has to do with rapture
theres gonna be seven years of hardship in the rapture. "tell him his eyes see too clear" (seeing past the charades of sin) (might be wrong, but i also think he says "tell him" because he doesn't want to talk to god personally and lots of other analogies =]

i'm pretty sure this and all the other songs on the ep are about anthony not being happy with saosins direction and wanting to leave. thats common knoweledge at this point. also, anthony green does write songs about god, they just happen to be about not believing in him. the entire on letting go album is about letting go of the silly superstitions of religion and god.

This is a really pretty song. Everyone here is saying what they think this song is about. But I think this song could be about whatever you want it to be. Dig deep into the lyrics and relate it to something. I don't think that even most artists know what their songs are truely about because I think each song creates a different meaning for every single person who listens to it. Just some thoughts I've always had.
really? | Reviewer: sam | 3/13/09
Who ever said this song is about god didnt really listen to the end of the song. "Don’t treat me I’m to blame dont treat me like i ever acused you" I dont know the meaning im not gonna try but its not about god.Anthony Green doesnt write songs about god
THE MEANING | Reviewer: Anonymous | 2/17/09
This song to me is basically what the person halfway down the list said, its about a guy who thought he could make it without god and he missed the rapture and is facing tribulation and he now realizes that he cant make it without him
Calm down | Reviewer: kiko | 2/16/09
guys we can never tell whats the meaning behind this song even do its evident in the slines that its a song for a past love we can never really tell things behind this song... Anyway the voice is one of the great factor in this song... try listening to circa same voice different genre and you can hear them different
great music | Reviewer: Caleb | 2/1/09
im sure anthony did have his meaning behind it and doubt that any of us will rightfully know what he ment exactly, but it can mean almost anything to someone. i myself look at it as a past love that is missed, "tell him his eyes see to clear" to me this means that her new boy friend sees how great she is and all he can do is miss what he once had, but look at it how ever you want

Man you just got that off this wikipedia page about saosin. You couldnt tell me anything more about them then what I could find on wiki. Who gives a shit what the song is reall about? Just let people enjoy the song for what it means to them and what the want it to mean. Who the fuck made your the governing power of saosins song meanings? If they want it to be drug related, about a long lost love, or about being left behind after the rapture, then so be it. Thats what makes the song meaningful. Not believing what every other teased haired skinny bitch believes.
you idiots | Reviewer: tom | 1/16/09
the song isnt about girlfriends or drug addictions cuz thats not what saosin's been about it was written during the anthony green era and if you knew anything about the band you could clearly see that its him writing about how unsatisfied he is with the direction of the band
:] | Reviewer: Anonymous | 11/5/08
this song is obviously about a guy who had never given faith in god a chance and he was left behind for the rapture and he has to fight to survive through the tribulation
geeeeezzzzz
:]
well, that's how ive always looked at the song
I fucking love this song | Reviewer: Kendra | 11/6/08
