I was checking on the lyrics, and found much more. Many people feel this song deeply - its rhythm, reminding us of our tribal mother earth roots pulsing seductively. It's the lyrics sung by Sade through her smokey, unique voice, sans vibrato yet on key! Sade is our mystery to figure out. I will sing it again, it works for all times, all venues, with my own stamp, The voice like a fingerprint and there is no sound like Sade proven when this comes on the radio, we listen to our root chakra!

Im 20. But I remember this song from my parents. Like myself, I cant get enough of it! Shez sooo soulful, and her combination of femininity and sophistication and pure soul is electrified through her amazing soulful voice! And the instrumentation is just amazing, sexy, tough, smooth and clean. Love it!

Man this song is hot, I remember hearing it as a youngster, but very briefly. Man the sophisticated beat of the drums, the coolness of the bass guitar and the Nasty Sax! Makes me want to just gently caress Sade's bottom..... while she swings those seductive hips. Oooooooo......Baby....
WHOOO I'M PUMPED!!!!!!! :D

Sade, the African princess of soul | Reviewer: riki | 12/16/07
As a student radio DJ, Sade never got a miss on my specialist show that celebrated black divas.
Her tragedy is we had her for so short a time.
She came and went with never a hint of her existence again.
Fame and fortune never went to her head. Did they ever mean anything to her.
Her concerts were unparalleled.
Her femininty made her gowns not the other way around. she had a smouldering sophistication that eclipsed the complications of Grace Joans.
If Bette Midler was devine, Sade was from eternity, bringing back the lives of Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughan, Lena Horne and Nina Simone. This was her real life achievement and made her a legend in such a short time.
she stamped her mark and that was enough for her.
No test of time and endurance. No need. Her statement was made, approved and sealed, never to be corrupted by the sands of time.
Her name stands at the forefront of our consciousness without us needing to be reminded. She is just as relevant today as Oprah and Joan Armatrading. They enlighten and enthrall but Sade mesmerizes. The silent assassin of our souls who loved us then left. The song 'Easy lover' could well have applied to her. We were raptured and captured in her grasp... then abandoned... so suddenly.
She has left us her legacy and we should celebrate we are not inspired by yet another dead diva.
Who can be a legend in a few short years, and be remembered many years after.
