Mikael Åkerfeldt is God. I've never been into garbage like Trivium and such so no worries there. But, he's the reason I started listening to more metal and accepting it. His growls are amazing and I have no words for how ..well.. amazing his singing is.
Opeth should make a few more Damnation type records but with more singing like this. I could listen to this for a day and not get bored.

this song, even if it is short, has an amazing feel. It's got power and meaning. in a way it makes you feel happy. but its sad. its a multi feeling song. I love how mellow metal can be sometimes. listen to it twice and you will learn the lyrics. you don't even need to look at lyrics sites for it.

Mikael Åkerfeldt has to have the most diverse voice in music, ranging from stunning beauty to sheer brutality. My favorite song on the album.

Åkerfeldt was an absolutely amazing songwriter, both heavy and soft. This is one of my favourites.

Wow, this is a really beautiful song.
I always knew Åkerfeldt was an amazing songwriter, and this just proves it.
Opeth are my fav. band, and this is one of my fav. songs.
