Well that sure explains why Tim himself calls the band Melodic Punk Rock/Melodic hardcore, now doesn't it? Dumb shit. Maybe you should actually LEARN about these things before you go and be a complete imbecile to someone, yes? And To Leanne, who i have nothing against :P Yes, they are Punk. But i don't think that they have one song which is actually Old School Punk, not even close really. I mean, Rise Against can actually play their instruments, and are fucking good at it. Whereas, older punk bands were just fucking around with it and just having a good time :) So yeah, Rise Against is Punk Rock. And that covers Melodic Punk Rock, Hardcore Punk etc, so don't bite my head off haha And to everyone else. Why can't a band make their OWN genre? Hey, if Rise Against started calling themselves techno i would still fucking listen to their music and respect them, so what's the deal? And also, this song rules so much, as does every other Rise Against song to date.
