I've been a fan of Rise Aqainst for a while now, and i can't believe i had never heard this sonq until one of my bandmates made an accoustic cover, i was speechless when i heard the sonq & i fell in love with it ever since<3

Hmmm I heard this song and fell in love with it (It's my meditation song...) Anyways I spent like a month trying to figure out what it was called and who it was, Once I figured out the name and the band I was sooo-o-o-happy mostly because of the name, picture it, me hippie child, name rise against... It fits... So of course I then whent looking for more expecting like this calm accoustic band and the first thing I clicked on was give it all, i started listening to it with speakers turned up full blast I almost fell out of my damn chair... I scared me at first but then they grew on me and let me just say "I LOVE RISE AGAINST!!!!!"

Dude, I first got into this band after listening to Audience of one which BLEW ME AWAY!!! So i started looking up more songs by them and found out I knew some others from the past that I never knew was them (like Give it all)... anywho, I heard this song after searching for more songs by them and this song is absolutely beautiful... Like every Rise Against song, their lyrics are crafty and AWESOME... I love his paralells to things in life... like in audience of one "I can still remember the words and what they meant as we etched them with our fingers in the YEARS OF WET CEMENT" I mean that sounds sooo bad ass... "If love is a labor I'll slave til the end" I mean seriously who thinks up this stuff??? The geniouses who are Rise Against that's who... LOL

when I first heard this song I was at a midnight cafe and it was open mic. These two guys started playing it and I fell in love with it right then and there, as soon as I got home I looked it up and bought it on itunes, now I got their album and I love how hard it is. I definitely have to say rise against is one of my fav bands in all time

Okay, for starters, this is one of the first songs that indroduced me to my favorite band, Rise Against. Also, my boyfriend said this was his favorite song, and we ended up dancing to it at our school dance, the day before he asked me out. And now, I just think of this song when ever I feel un-loved. Sure, it's not nesecarly a " love " song, but you can interperate that way. To me, this is one of the most beautiful and wonderfuly writen songs in the world. I hope you love Rise Against as much as I do ~ (:

I just love Rise Against. They are very talented have have made song after song that never gets old. You end up wanting to listen to them again and again. And if you play the guitar, like me, you just won't ressist the temptation of learning how to play them all. :)

I listen to this song a lot... sometimes even too much, even though i may listen to it too much i still cant get enough its my favorite by rise against. These guys did an amazing job on this one and i really hope they never stop rocking.

We used this song as our first dance when we got married, it fit just right. Its been over a year and now we are expecting a expecting a little girl. We have both crossed the street holding hands,.... and never looked back. thanks to a great band and great song.

this song has so much meaning and the way it is sung plays such a big part. its inspirational and moving. i listen to it and just feel like i HAVE to be happy. like i cant help but just feel good about life. i love rise against. wonderful job on this one.

this is my fav rise against song, actually to be honest im not really that big of a fan but this song has made it to the top 5 of my favorite songs of all time. the idea that happiness is in the little things and life is what u make of it has been my main outlook on life since i was old enough to understand the concept. people always think im crazy because money is the last thing on mind and always has been, ive always just wanted to live a humble life with the people i care about. this is currently me and my boyfriends song, actually we fell in love to this song in a way. anyways i love it!

this was my best gf and i's song, we both loved rise against, and as such, we both knew of this song, but we didnt realize just how much meaning it had until we weren't together anymore, now, even with the hell it takes me every night to do so, i have made a vow to listen to this song every night, and so far, have kept it up

There are some (very few) songs that have a straightforward singular meaning. This, obviously isnt one of them, and i think anybody who's even whispered the name 'Rise Against' knows how much depth and meaning, each and every one of thier songs has. This particular song is one of my favourites, i've learnt it on guitar, and still every time i play/hear it, it creates a new meaning- or brings out an old memory. But i know Tim, and that he may have written this song for a certain purpose, or with a certain meaning, but that he also knows, and understands that other people find new meanings in his songs, in thier songs, and that is part of what he does. Rise Aginst write/play to be listened to, and comprehended, and thought about... im glad for them, and for myself that so much thought goes into tims lyrics, its worth obsessing over, right? :P!!
