The first song I heard was "state of the union" whem I was listing to my freinds C-D's amlessly beacouse I had nothing better to do. I imeditaly liked them. Anayway, my dad has all the computers in the house linked. I was looking through the music file and found Rise Against. Now I listen to them almost everyday when I am doing homework or whatever. By now I should be able to ansure"What is your favorite song by Rise Against?" but I think they are so,,, meningfull and other undiscribable sinsatitons and most of all truth that I can't make up my mind. Beacouse of this, I also Recemend Rise Against to everyone who doesent listen or know about them. PS: I know I probly spelled A LOT wrong, but my point is they are the best lyricwise. Beyond Amazing | Reviewer: Natalie | 2/11/2008 Honestly, I have never been much of a hard rock listener, I like mainly no screaming, great lyrics and a great beat...but as soon as I heard this band for the first time I Actually fell head over heals for it. It is my favorite band and I definitely know that it will always be. No great band could replace it because every single song they create has a message and it honestly really gets to you. I love music like that, where it makes you think. That's exactly how it should be!! My favorite song would definitely have to be Prayer of the Refugee and/or Good Left Undone. They Rock!! I got into them with the song "LIKE THE ANGEL," and after I heard that song, I went searching for their cds. It never occurred to me that they would have more than one cd (call me weird, but a lot of the bands at the time were only releasing one cd), and anyway, I came across SIREN SONG OF THE COUNTER CULTURE, and they have been my favorite ever since.
