I told people in my school to check out Rise Against came out with Revolution Per Minute but some people listen to it and then years later Suffer and Witness came out I told people to get that but nobody well I got couple of my friends did and then WWE SVR 07 and Madden 07 Guitar Hero 3 came out now everybody listen to that. It got me kind of mad but to Reviewer: Anonymous | 11/25/2007 Why get mad? It took me years to get people in my school to listen to the band and now they do. I personally love the band and the all the Guitar Hero's games but If people had the same problem they would understand.

the Music Video | Reviewer: valerie | 11/27/07

This is a very good song, but for Erin since you brought up the video, it has nothing to do about refugees. The video is about the horrible working conditions people in other countries have to work through to make an honest living. I found it amusing that there was a girl with Chiquita bananas. Those people in South American countries get paid reasonably well, compared to the other banana farmers who cannot sell anything because of that company.

I actually learned about this band on pandora.com a website where u type in artists or song u like and it puts a radio station with similar stuff. This song popped up and just amazed me. It made me feel good cuz most songs nowadays is about love or lovers but these people actually sing about something that is real and happening now.

Why get mad? | Reviewer: Anonymous | 11/25/07

This is to the reviewer below me, B. Why get upset that Guitar Hero III is giving this band the exposure they deserve. It doesn't matter how people are turned on to a band, as long as they're turned on to it. Be happy that a band you love is getting their due instead of being upset that it's a video game that's made them famous.

umm | Reviewer: Anonymous | 11/25/07

isnt it ironic that half the people here are just hating on each other? seems like the song is trying to get everyong to suck it up and do just the opposite

kidding me? | Reviewer: Anonymous | 11/25/07

plenty of people have heard, loved and followed rise against passionately way before a video game displayed it.

Hm. | Reviewer: Erin | 11/24/07

Yeah, I agree with "reviewer b". I do hate that. I was introduced to this song sometime last year, and the video to it made me cry. I do play this song on Guitar Hero 3, but I knew it much longer, and I have loved this band for quite a while. If you only know this song from guitar hero and don't really know the band, I suggest you go out and buy one of their CDs. They are amazing.

Guitar Hero; | Reviewer: Elizabeth | 11/25/07

This song is pretty much the best. I have Guitar Hero 3 and I play this song every day. Its awesome

amazing song, amazing band | Reviewer: Santi | 11/24/07

i kind of fell in love with rise against through a friend who'd been to their show. they're amazing live, and have such a strong message that isn't as forced or trite as a lot of "socially conscious" bands are nowadays. knowing that they don't just sing about revolts and change, but actually try to implement the things they preach is wonderful in an era where songs of decadence and overindulgence rule the music world.

the music is a sonic call for change, and the lyrics make you realize just how lucky you are and how much you can do to help people who don't have what you do.

I like how nobody hears of a band and then Guitar Hero has it. I like the band and the games I just get a little mad when the cd is like a year old and people say yea this song is awesome and I try to tell them a year ago to check out Rise Against.

Awesome!!! | Reviewer: Reptilefrenz | 11/19/07

I didn't know about this song(or band) until I played the song on Guitar Hero 3. I think its an extremely good choice to put it on GH3 because it can inspire an notify a much wider audince than otherwise.

After that, I did some research on the band and WOW...... It's really inspiring, what they hae done and I want to do some of that stuff too. (Corny... I know. But its true)

All their songs are awesome!!!

Awesome | Reviewer: Jordan... | 11/15/07

All of their songs have so much meaning...This band is just awesome.

"So open your eyes child,
Let’s be on our way.
Broken windows and ashes
Are guiding the way.

Keep quiet no longer,
We’ll sing through the day,
Of the lives that we’ve lost,
And the lives we’ve reclaimed."

That verse just blew me away.

yea great song
just correcting, or more just trying to prove my point, about what noctornal said, it all made sence except at the end i dont think theres noone left and no money left, i think they're robbing it or something of the sort, you can tell by how dark it is at the beginning and you see a laser he steps over. but i think this proves a similar point, that maybe the rest of the world is so poor that they have to steal from cheap-ass stores like wal-mart?

Great song with a great video, correcting Nocturnal: in the end it spells FAIR TRADE not FREE TRADE like you said. It is saying it is not fair what is being done...

i lov this song | Reviewer: galluzzo | 11/7/07

this song rocks. great decision to put it in guitar hero 3, other than the fact that i am touched every time i listen to it and realize what is going on in the world and no one is doing anything about it. this song inspires me to go out when i grow up and make a home for every person who doesn't not have the money or anything. i will make a difference, so thank you, prayer of a refugee.
