The lyrics are okay, not my favourite part but they are well written and illustrate how pathetic being addicted feels in an effective and powerful way. It's the emotion in the song and the music that make it amazing for me. 'Red Hot Chili Peppers' are a fantastic group. I hope they come up with more beautiful songs like this.
