I am completely in love with this song! The crazy guitars and the rebellious lyrics, ah so inspiring. I'm in the 'experimental phase' of my youth with this as my main themesong... Most of RHCP's early music tbh. I just UGHH I can't explain it, this song is great on so many levels I'm actually too lazy to write it all down 'cause once I started I'd HAVE TO FINISH IT NO MATTER WHAT and considering it's 2am here I can't be bothered.

Perhaps the control company had the Name changed to Game and, mr. Anonymous, you bought the CD before they found their glitch in the Matrix ;)

I am happy to hear that you were saved from religious brainwash. Spirituality is something entirely different, if you have chosen such a path. Indeed, I believe that many spiritually strong people are not aware of the fact, so a heretic might indeed be much closer to a loving god. A god that approves of people doing actual thinking.

...Is the actual title of the song, look at the CD if you don't believe me. This was the first CD I ever had and also this song very much saved me from a very crazy religious stage I was in during my early childhood. If it wasn't for this song I'd probably a completely crazy God fearing catholic. Thank you RHCP for making me the man I am today.

Yeah, this is a great song with lyrics that I really like, but it is titled "Shallow Be Thy Game" not "Shallow Be Thy Name". Tried to submit this correction a while ago by the other method but to apparently no avail.
