The Reviews about Rancid (page 2/ 2)
Every Punk rocker should like Rancid | Reviewer: Kyle | 12/29/2005
Rancid is an amazing band.Anyone who is into punk rock should like Rancid. They're a great band and you never know what to expect from them. They're songs have stories behind them and they're great musicians. If you're into ska or reggea,go for ...And Out Come the Wolves or Life Won't Wait.If you're into hardcore punk, check out Rancid 2000.All their albums are awesome, although Indestructable was sort of a let down.Anyway,it's all Rancid,so that means it's all good.
The true spirit of punk shines here. | Reviewer: Tom | 6/9/2005
I'm a fan of most punk rock, and I can tell you that if you are too, you're going to absolutely LOVE Rancid. Personally, Rancid is my second favorite, only to Green Day. But Rancid is truely punk, wheras Green Day is just pop punk. But, anyway, Rancid's styles are often changing, and that's one of the great things about them. From ska-style songs in And Out Come The Wolves, to 100% true punk in Life Won't Wait, to hardcore fast-paced songs in Rancid 2000. Trust me, Rancid is definitely a band to check out, and one of the most vital parts of the 90's punk revival.
rancid, nothing better | Reviewer: dan | 12/28/2004
Rancid to me are absolute be all and end all of 90's and modern punk rock, no other band consistently manages to blend punk reggae together so well, and each memeber of the band is an awesome musician in their own right. Brett manages to flick between breack neck beats and chilled reggae influenced grooves perfectly with almost no effort, matt is without a shadow of a doubt the greatest rock bass guitarist i have ever heard, lars is amazing and his work with the bastards is second only to rancid themselves, And a personal idol of mine is tim. I've had to live of the dole and use charities for clothes and to see what he's acomplished is amazing, plus he's got damn good taste in music (most of the hellcat back catalouge is in my collection). Anyway even after six albums (and a selection of side projects) rancid are still doing as well as ever and for anyone who is curious go and buy lets go or ...and out come the wolves and you understand why i'm so enamoured
