Testify is an amazing song. I saw these guys at Lallapalooza and I was one of the guys getting fucking beat on. Zach saved my fucking life that day and I say screw anyone who thinks the system beat the guy. He was trying to protect his fans. Rage Rulez!!!
Stand Up!!! | Reviewer: JOshua Ellis | 11/20/09
Testify is one of the most lyrically prolific songs ever written.... If these guys were alive during the Renaissance period, they would be called some of the greatest poets to ever walk the sphere. If the government wants us to be a nation of jaded fools, only caring enough about politics to keep us truly disinterested, then why don't they just take away our right to vote like everything else they've taken. As long as we spend our money on crap, and don't act up too much, they will be happy and nothing will change. When we awake and open in our eyes in the mornings, it should be the real thing, not just practice. Who's the real terrorists?
"Wars are started by governments who see an opportunity to be aggresive" -Ronald Reagan
Zack in general | Reviewer: Anonymous | 6/3/09
First off, I find it amazing that he quoted one of my favourite authors here. ("Who controls the past..." being from 1984 by George Orwell) He also had a reference to Dante's Inferno in "Roll Right" ("Send them to the seventh level!"), which I appreciated.
While he's much more of an extreme leftist than I am (I'm only moderately left, if not completely indifferent to politics), I admire that he is so devoted to what he believes in. I wish I had that kind of tenacity to stand up amidst calls from opposition to step down. He truly believes in the possibility of peace with the right approach.

I only heard of this song 2 days ago, for the first time, when I was at a party playing Rock Band. It pretty well caught me attention.=)
Btw, Mr. B rocks this song! Just in case anyone wanted to know. :P
awesome | Reviewer: karla | 4/11/09
I'm from argentina..I know what this band is talking about, Americans are kind of blind, your system dont allow you to see the truth, you should read noam chomsky, great books by the way and not to consume all that shit,I mean what the media want you to believe..you are a great country but your ignorance kill us all

This is basically what you're saying:
'If someone asks a large crowd of people to "Back-up", this automatically means that the system has beaten them; they lose, the system wins, and they only care about the money now.'
What!?
Or maybe if Zack asks a large crowd of people to 'Back-up', it just means that he doesn't want any innocent people to get injured or killed unnecessarily, JUST LIKE HE'S ALWAYS DONE.
We all have a brain. You should really try using yours. The world would be a better place if you did.
That shit applies to NOW!!!!!! | Reviewer: preznader4eva | 11/1/08
Don't all you guys see? Obama and McSame are the the same like Rage describes! Nader's on 45 states +DC, the most ever for a third party! Stop watching Gossip Girl and wake up to the real world! This is my favorite music video, because it creatively tells the truth! Look at ALL the roll call votes, and you will see Obama is for the Patriot Act, FISA, less rights for suing companies, and all that. Nader has NEVER, I repeat, NEVER done that (like the way Biden talks LOL). Go to votenader.org and get out the vote!! Let's do this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lolla 08 | Reviewer: Eugindiad | 10/28/08
yo Lolla was fukin sick I still can't believe I actually got to see Rage Against The Fucking Machine Live. Best show ever. But yeah that guy is a fucking idiot. I was at the front and there was a kid and 4 girls who just got murked from all the pushing and shit going on so he was just trying to keep the peace.
Zach had to in chicago. | Reviewer: Anonymous | 9/29/08
I was at that Rage show in Chicago during Lollapalooza that you were talking about. Zach had to tell those people to back up. There were some people getting crushed and injuried. I don't see how that has anything to do with money. He was just making sure that his fans were having a good time without really fucking up each other.
and how has the system beat these guys? They are still carrying on their mission and doing it successfully.
Amazing. | Reviewer: Anonymous | 9/2/08
I saw rage at leeds fest last month they opened with this it was incredible.
Zach has definetly not given up just because he told people to move back, because he did at leeds to, it's a matter of saftey. If someone dies at a rage gig that's the last thing he want's isn't it.
tl;dr This song is awesome. Zach+Tom are active as owt. EZLN for example.
