sooo in love with this song.
i actually found it on Romeo and Juliet produced by Baz Luhrmann for a project.
i haad to look it up..
it reminds me of when i used to go to random places and sit just to think about life and look at the surroundings for hours.
soo mellooww.

This song hasnt got many words, but it doesnt need them.
its true what; genius | Reviewer: Tim | 10/1/08, said
about that its like what the moment before death would seem like.
its a great song to listen to when your angry or upset. it really makes me think, as do many other radiohead songs.

its post modern | Reviewer: erica anesthesized | 12/18/08

It has no theme and the lack of theme is a theme. Its like post modern literature. An example is in As I Lay Dying by william faulkner the absense of words suggests that other sounds are there. The absense of a theme creates a theme.

Standalone | Reviewer: Anonymous | 12/2/08

I think the fact that this song IS just a B-side makes it better. Its much more of a standalone track, that really stands out for me, than it would have been if found on "OK Computer" or "The Bends". If it was on an album it might have been dwarfed by all Radiohead's other amazing tracks; Its not part of something brilliant, but more IS something brilliant.

Unbelievably Touching | Reviewer: Garuru | 10/27/08

This song doesn't have one theme, but multiple themes. So in every verse there is it's own theme.
Also notice how it has a chorus but the lyrics aren't always the same. Ergo, different themes. :D

this song makes me feel so calm. it makes me think of what the moment before death would be like. when you've accepted it and there's nothing you can do about it. i love radiohead and love all of their work, but for me, this is their best work. it defines who they are and what they do so well. which is ironic because it isn't from any of their albums, just a b-side from a single between the bends and ok computer. i think this should have been on ok computer. it would have fitted so beautifully.

Kickass song. | Reviewer: Holly | 9/15/08

This is truly an amazing song. I don't think about the words as much as the actual music though. I've read most of the previous comments, and I also discovered this song when I was a teenager. Naturally, I was like any other teen, so I would get overwhelmed with anger at times too, but this song was never one that made me feel more wound up or anything after listening to it. If anything it calmed me down. Made me not give a shit about anything. In my opinion, if this song had a definition, it would be the definition of apathy. Always a plus! =)

relaxing | Reviewer: Anonymous | 9/12/08

This song to me describes that melodic calm that rushes over you, once you have gotten to the point of insanity and total dispare... It is a song about the mental boundry that few have crossed and what happens to your emotions when you are standing on the edge, and seeing nothing in your future... Shoot me... I don't care I have nothing left to live for...and I have found serenity in that...Its like the moment before you turn the barrel on yourself...Bang! Beautiful Art!

Isnt it a true story? | Reviewer: Anonymous | 8/11/08

Thats weird. I actually thought this song was about a talk show host in the 60's who was losing his job and his wife left him and everything and he went nuts one night and locked himself in the stage room and held hostages and stuff. The only thing he had was the gun, sandwiches, and everything else had been taken away from him. The cops ran in and killed him, but this song is like a sympathy for the devil situation.

AMAZING SONG | Reviewer: justin shaw | 8/3/08

GUYS! Really??? THE SONG is called "talk show host". Imagine a talk show host like doctor phil or maury povich or some shit trying to get all in your head. You're depressed, pissed, a little bi-polar...NOW. READ THE LYRICS.

indescribable... | Reviewer: Jennifer | 7/29/08

it's hard to describe this song if you're not listening to it at the same time... to me it describes pain and confusion, all having to do with new feelings or a new event (such as entering high school and being unsure about what you want to do with yourself and what you want), and possibly love. the first time i listened to this song i was moved in a way that you'd have to know by listening to the song.

R+J memories | Reviewer: Anonymous | 3/7/08

I heard this song when it first came out R+J. I was about maybe 11 or 12 years old? Dunno. But I remember at that time I was going through most of my teen angst...and I would listen to this song over and over again. I was so sad and so angry..this song fit it perfectly.

I can no longer feel what I felt back then..but I try hard to remember when I listen to this song..

Talk Show Host | Reviewer: meltedbutta@hotmail.com | 2/22/08

I think it is a musical interpretation of minimalism. Few lyrics with seducing long melody. The melody is more of a haunting sexual theme that reflects romeo's inner emotions about lust. He is thinking and fighting within himself. You'll hear echoes of what sounds like demons laughing in the backround. I think the song is more of a riddle/poem fashioned much in the way of shakespeare's writing! Romeo is fighting himself. Sexual energy is definetly in this song. This is the theme; love.

Amazing | Reviewer: Lizzi | 1/11/08

I LOVE this song. it just makes me feel really angry and wound up inside, yet strangely calm. Truly moving and the perfect listening during teenage angst i think. I think the lyrics, becasue of their randomness can be interpreted in any way really. sexually, angrily or just plain weirdly, they can mean so much that they fit to anything (to an extent). I think everyone can really relate to this song. Hard to explain really..
