The Reviews about Paranoid Android (page 6/ 9)
------ performed by Radiohead

stupidly good tune! | Reviewer: joshhj | 5/23/08

i just found this song on one of your no name 'Best of...' albums and i don't think i've gone one day without listening to it. The guitar is beautiful on the one hand, but utterly, irretrivebly insane on the other. The lyrics are deep... REAL deep. It makes you wanna throw your self around the room with the ol' six string and it makes you wanna cry. It's so, so, so good and all of the above, all at once. If you don't agree i advise you to probe your self into liking it. Truly an all time classic!!!
Enjoy everyone...

Sublime | Reviewer: Anonymous | 3/23/08

If Radiohead put this stuff fown on paper, and it was read without the music, I can guarantee that it'd impress any English poetry critic. It is genius. Mr. Yorke is genius. He is the music equivalent of Van Gough- breaking boundaries again and again. I don't think this work will be truly appreciated by the wider community for many years to come, and it's already relatively old. Where any average song by an average band would have made number one in the charts and faded away, this is still ahead of it's time. Sublime. Perfection personified. Not just this song, but much of Radiohead's work, such as Fake Plastic Trees, No Surprises, Karma Police, Just, Black Star, The Bends, Creep, Airbag, Fitter/Happier et cetera, I feel privileged just to listen to it.

Factory Farming | Reviewer: L Boogs | 2/22/08

The begining song is about the horrors of factory farming. The last verse is about how people eat the meat from these animals that have suffered so much. Thom Yorke is vegan and this makes him sick. Listen to the end of the song/interlude "Fitter Happier" (same album) and you you will hear "Fitter, Happier, More productive, A pig, In his cage, on antibiotics." His stance against factory farming is very strong.

Wonderful song. I was stuck in understanding the meaning, Thom has an amazing poetry which sometimes breaks even the music's impact. I felt awful when I first read the lyrics of idioteque... and exit music for a film too. Great band. Great guy... in June in Italy!!!

No words | Reviewer: ana | 1/31/08

This song is just amaizing since the first time i listened it i feel like a conection between the sadness of the world and the gloomy of the inside, is beautiful and means more when it's the favorite of someone you like and shared with you this song anytime...

When I am King! | Reviewer: Fice | 1/22/08

All I can say is this song is Powerful, Pleasure and Pain, As I sit and listen and sing along tears roll down my eyes. I interpret this song as someone who has experienced pain and ridicule from others and it is his time to strike back! Vengeance, Payback, with no satisfaction, I can feel his pain and anger. One of my favorite tracks! I hold this song near and dear.

Just like many an RH tune, the music slowly rises to a frenzied peak, achieving a paranoid-to-sublime transition through words and rhythm. Paranoid Android does this really well. Fine use of crescendo with a beautiful fall!

Fucking awesome | Reviewer: Cecilia | 11/27/07

Ever since i heard this song, I couldn't sop listening to it!! What's funny is that I got it off of Daniel Radcliffe's playlist (so hott!!). I made crazy dance moves, I cried, I laughed and all that good stuff to this song. MY belief is that Radiohead is fuking genius. Best songs are Paranoid Android, Karma Police, Optimistic, and Packt like Sardines in a Crushed Tin Can. How the hell they come up with this stuff, we'll never know...

among the greats, to be sure | Reviewer: josh | 11/27/07

The gods of rock are highly pleased by the offering radiohead has lifted up. This is music that will live on forever, timeless, tireless, poignant. The crescendo builds toward the end, from a murmur to a cacaphony of such malevolence, you could call it heavy metal. Not many songs are structured so well, with such a balance of emphasis. Radiohead IS among the greats of our time. LONG LIVE RADIOHEAD!!!!!!!
