The Reviews about LET DOWN (page 2/ 4)
------ performed by Radiohead

I love you guys. | Reviewer: Radioreligion | 6/5/09

Wow, I was astonished to read the comments that people have given here. I love Radiohead possibly more than anything else on this planet, and one of my friends always tells me how all the true Radiohead fans are different from other people - they have a soulwrenching deeper and darker side to them, wich other people don't have. And the comments I have read by some people on here really manifested that fact. I was seriously touched to the bottom of my soul by the things you people have written. Eventhough I will never see you in my life, I will have a very true and deep connection to you all - it's called Radiohead.

Everytime I hear this song it makes me feel sad in a way that I hate.. This song reminds of this girl I had a big crush with .. (I'm trying to figure out if I still do. I think I do still) ... I've tryed to forget her since june 25 2008 .. But I can't! It hurts! Everytime I listen to this song and no suprises it takes me back! I BLAME RADIOHEAD. ...<=( ...

Connection | Reviewer: Anonymous | 2/6/09

This song is pure, dazzling, beauty. I feel like I can go far away inside myself, lose myself to the world and right when I feel like I'm going to drown, there's a brilliant white light that grabs ahold of me, renewing me, energizing me...

let down | Reviewer: Anonymous | 2/4/09

Let down shows how i feel right now... I feel lonely and the worst is that i find nobody interesting enough to talk to... I love all my friends but i feel like there is an enormous ditch between us. I have other interests and worries that they don't. Most of them let me down because they aren't what i expected, but that is not their fault. That's how i see this music. it's like there is nothing in the world that won't be a disapointing because when you suffer a great loss everything becomes a great non-sense. I lost the only person in the world that would understand me and he introduced me radiohead... It has a really special meaning to me.

LET DOWN | Reviewer: nobody | 1/15/09

Evey time i am sad i listen to 'let down', i sink inside me and i fight with my darkness. I have your name on my body, your love in my hart and your strength in my soal. I have my wings now-you gave them to me... Will you fly with me??

Melody and counter melody all through | Reviewer: Derek | 12/18/08

What makes this song Beautiful is that it's Lyrics are about people giving up on people and lifes Strugles..But the Music is like a Lulaby..and so peacefull and calm..Which is how he sings it, opposite of the Lyrics..He knows He'll Grow wings soon and everything will be alright..Thx. Derek

Let Down | Reviewer: Politruk | 12/2/08

This song is definitely emotional but dont i find it depressing.Take the last 30 seconds or so for example, i feel this is one of the most uplifting moments of radiohead's back catalogue (bar the last 30secs of black star that is!). The guitars are fresh and Yorke's voice and harmonizations sound pure and honest.

Let Down | Reviewer: Cheryl | 11/2/08

I think this song was inspired by Franz Kafka's "The Metamorphosis." The story is about a traveling salesman who one day wakes up to find he's a giant bug. He is completely useless to his family, and "hangs around" in his room day after day. There are more than a few echoes of that novella in this song.

mmm | Reviewer: Anonymous | 4/12/08

This is my favorite song of Radiohead's and possibly ever. Everything about it is just about perfect - and thanks to the Thom's dual harmony at the end, there are two ways to single along.

These lyrics are wrong though. It's wings TWITCH. I dunno how the hell anyone could think he sings "clipped". None of the consonants match up at all.

amazing song | Reviewer: chris | 3/15/08

ok computer is such a great album, and this is my favourite song on the album besides subterranean homesick alien and electioneering. full of emotion and paranoia, god bless thom yorke and the rest of the band. they are just brilliant.
