------ performed by Radiohead

cool | Reviewer: Katarn | 11/4/08

Anyways this is a very good song, from a very good band (Radiohead). I don't care if the song its performed by PATD or any other group, My recomendation its for all of U who said that haven't heard of radiohead, GO GOOGLE IT! you'll like what you'll find and if you are able to watch some vids it will also worth it. believe me. ;)

a little tl;dr | Reviewer: Tara | 10/25/08

I've went on Youtube and I've listened to Panic! At the Disco's cover of Karma Police. I've been an avid Radiohead fan for around a year and a half; I love every single song they've done, save for the shit that's on Pablo Honey.
And honestly? I thought the cover was pretty good.
I don't like P!ATD at all (over hyped music, most of it) but the guy who sings (I think his name is Brandon, forgive me if I'm way off) in some ways, has a much better voice than Thom's.
I really like both versions of Karma Police, 'cause it's one of my favorite songs in the world; that song has really pulled me through a ton of shit in the past few months.
To all of the elitist assholes who keep on arguing about which version is better: Shut the fuck up. You're being ignorant asswipes. Just 'cause you like the original over the cover (or vice versa) doesn't mean someone else's music taste is shit. Grow the fuck up and accept other people's opinions for once.
Sorry if this got a little too tl;dr, it's around 2:30 in the morning and I'm pretty bored.

karma, police, arrest Tommy B, talks like a dickhead.
honestly, stop saying panic at the disco sucks. they did a wonderful cover of the song. its not blasphemy (saying rediculous things about this bible is! idiot). obviously radiohead liked panic! enough to let them cover the song!
radiohead is a great band, and just because panic! is a diff genre, dosn't mean they suck.

About comparisons | Reviewer: pablo gonzalez | 7/24/08

I don't know anything about PATD. I've heard their name some times, but i don't know who they are. Anyway, I'm writing here because I have been recently discovering both Muse and Radiohead. My opinion is that i like Muse, but i think radiohead is much better. I think that musically (I mean, in the quality of the melodies) they are in a similar level, but when it comes to lyrics, Thom Yorke is a poet. His lyrics are the only ones that I've met so far that could be compared to Springsteen's. The problem I find with Radiohead is that (maybe because I'm just discovering them) many of their best songs( creep, fake plastic trees, no surprises...) are SO depressive. Until now, it's the only problem I've found. Everything else is perfect with them

I hate relativism | Reviewer: kael | 3/4/08

Truth itself is relative to the standpoint of the subject. The criteria for 'good' music is subjective to a certain extent but all ideas/concepts have standards that they must meet, independent of anyone's propensity to accept it. The inability to make sense of such standards eventually paralyses all thought... which includes critical thought. What i'm saying is: We shouldn't accept music as "good" purely on the basis that it is music. There is such a thing as bad music; there is such a thing as bad taste.

You're all very, very pathetic. | Reviewer: Anonymous | 2/5/08

So what if a band who may not be good in your opinion covered his song? It means they like it and want to show their appreciation for it.

I know, part of that paragraph may confuse you, and I'm betting it's the word opinion. Musical opinion, musical taste. Everyone's is different, and no one is RIGHT or WRONG. People have different views and beliefs, and arguing gets you NOWHERE. If you don't like the Panic at the Disco cover, than don't listen to it, idiots. You're not being forced be bitch about it, you're just being stupid, egotistical, elitest assholes trying to shove your opinion down other's throats.

Enjoy the original, shut the fuck up about the covers.

SHUT UP | Reviewer: james | 1/27/08

why doesnt everybody just shut the fuck up!

enjoying the beauty of this song as NOTHING to do with hypocracy or with comparing bands to eachother, or about who sucks and who doesnt, you are all missing the point of this music.

Love It | Reviewer: Ashlee | 1/18/08

This song is so beautiful that it makes me want to cry. This band is so amazing and this has to be one of my favorites (if not my favorite by them)!

I'd deffinately like to say that I think Radiohead is the Beatles of the new generation. Thom yorke is a genious, and I will always support and admire this band.
