Stand Up.'from 'Hail To The Thief' makes me think of the rythm we can't see, of events happening to speed us to the catcylcism Yorke is referring to and us not even gleaming a mere hint of it the paranoia of this track is infectious which makes you think because its something you actually wanna dance to. It creeps me out thinking of people dancing to this and not even knowing or caring about what precisely there boogying along to. There is most definately a message about "Change" in this song, if not the message of the song. The first line of the song "Who's in bunker?" is the dead give away of his message of change. The change is coming whether or not people realize it or care. The line "Let me hear both sides..." Refers to keeping an open mind or state. The line "We're not scaremongering..." Scaremongering meaning - we're not running around in a scared fashion... "this is really happening... basically accept the reality of the situation... On second thought there is way too much to interpret from the lyrics... so far that is what I have come up with. Lyrics from a mind of a genius...
