IN RAINBOWS was a much softer album because the atmosphere in the songs seems relaxed. lyrics, on the contrary, lack a relative relaxed meaning. the song NUDE and the lyrics are a bit dirtier. For me this song is about alien abduction. "They got a skin and they put me in." They made him someone else. Bodysnatchers = aliens. The lines 'Has the light gone out for you, because the lights gone out for me, it is the 21st century' Seem to show that they want to move on, and with it being the 21st century they want to do new, more modern sounding things rather than sticking to what they always did. When he says he's trapped in this body and can't get out, shows that he feels that because of their other albums, they get stereotyped as something they don't want to stick to.
