I HATE POLITICS | Reviewer: Travis | 8/16/09
i read and interview with thom yorke about this album and he compared it to in rainbows, he said this albums motivation was more anger and politics, but personally i find it easier to relate to because the songs pack a punch. especially BODYSNATCHERS fucking is great if you are pissed as well.
IN RAINBOWS was a much softer album because the atmosphere in the songs seems relaxed. lyrics, on the contrary, lack a relative relaxed meaning.
the song NUDE and the lyrics are a bit dirtier.

...for ACTUALLY getting the lyrics right! So many other sites I checked have dumbass, incorrect versions of the lyrics.
For me this song is about alien abduction. "They got a skin and they put me in." They made him someone else. Bodysnatchers = aliens. Also there's an element of miscommunication and people being fake, "I'm a lie" ect.

i think this song is not about them as musicians, I think is more about how people live in the 21st century, led by consumism and advertisments... it is like all they see creates an image... like a face, they put like a mask so they can be "IN" and "normal" but then you realize that people are not themselves, they are a lie, because they live their lives thinking of others.

Funny? This was the song that made me a fan....
This song took my breath away as soon as I heard it. I thought it was also one of the more catchy songs on the album.....though in rainbows eventually changed my life.
it's about change | Reviewer: Matt | 2/11/09
This song, as well as 15 step, sound like their reaction to all the backlash they got from their fans when they moved on from being a rock band into a much more experimental band. The lines 'Has the light gone out for you, because the lights gone out for me, it is the 21st century' Seem to show that they want to move on, and with it being the 21st century they want to do new, more modern sounding things rather than sticking to what they always did.
When he says he's trapped in this body and can't get out, shows that he feels that because of their other albums, they get stereotyped as something they don't want to stick to.
Powerful | Reviewer: Hardy | 12/15/08
I think this is one of Radiohead's proof of being still able to generate powerful sounds. And, it creates great effect. I agree that this song does not catch one's attention easily, but it grows on you and lets you enjoy its power. To me, the lyric itself is about the Bodysnatchers movie.
A good powerful song
This song is awesomo pancake | Reviewer: L | 11/14/08
Yeah, I'd say that I didn't dislike either of these songs when I first heard them. This song proves that Radiohead can still beat out all the other contemporary bands at a guitar-driven song, even though that isn't Radiohead's focus anymore.

No, Paranoid Android is a song you love since the first time you listen it, this one has its own greatness, has magic but yeah you get to like it more with the time... Is like Radiohead can't possibly make bad songs
In Rainbows' Paranoid Android | Reviewer: Radiohead | 11/23/07
One of the songs that first you don't line, then it slowly starts to grow on you and finally conquers you! really great, comparable to Paranoid Android.
