The Reviews about A Wolf at the Door (page 3/ 4)
------ performed by Radiohead
A Happy Ending (??) | Reviewer: Alex | 8/31/07
The closer of "Hail"
i find it almost uplifting for a Radiohead finale.
The album is spent lamenting the sad fate of the world, but with "Wolf at the Door", Radiohead concludes as much as they'd like to stay inside and watch the sky fall, the wotld just keeps pulling them back for more.
And how beautifully & poetic this is expressed, a stream of conciousness almost rap method i've never heard before. The lyrics themselves are quite dark, but the hopeful beat in the background seems to drain them of their sinister nature.
wait to go guys :)
excuse me??? | Reviewer: Anonymous | 8/24/07
Excuse me, anonymous??? Another band can't like Radiohead and use some of their terms? Leave Keane alone. My gosh.
Okay... | Reviewer: Anonymous | 8/24/07
People, Keane's "A Wolf at the Door" and Radiohead's "Wolf at the Door" are not the same song...they're just using the same name...
keane can suck my balls | Reviewer: Anonymous | 8/10/07
i didnt know keane had a song called 'wolf at the door' so i decided to read the lyrics so i could penalise any rip-offs to radiohead in the lyrics. i was right, in keane's version they even include the term 'scatterbrain'; the name of the radiohead song just before 'wolf at the door' on the hail to the theif song list. what a bunch of twats keane are, i hate it when bands do that.
nope - it's not Keane | Reviewer: mthrl | 7/30/07
Its not Keane you pratt, its radiohead - off the album Hail to the Thief - and it's my favourite Radiohead song. Keane could never reach the emotional depth displayed in this one.
Keane?? who are they?? :) | Reviewer: mthrl | 7/30/07
Yeah Hail to the thief is my favourite Radiohead album and this is my favourite song off the album - You cant compare Radiohead to Keane really, Keane just doesn't have the emotional depth - It's like comparing Johhny Knoxville to Edward Norton.
leaked version | Reviewer: Hangman | 5/29/07
the version in the leaked album doesn't have the chorus, i like it more than the "official" version
come on now | Reviewer: Anonymous | 5/19/07
Patty Larkin also has a song called Wolf at the Door, but no one cares to mention her -- because you know it's a different song! 'wolf at the door' is common phrase...it happens.

they're 2 different songs whose name is the same but authors are not.
I loved radiohead's "wolf at the door" since the first time i heard it. the progression from the tension in the verse to the worriedness and fragility of the chorus is just amazing. =D
