It was the day after his 18th birthday...i absolutely love this song and i reccommend this song to anybody who has lost someone that they love dearly...<33 silent lucidity | Reviewer: janett belcher | 10/29/05 we found this song that somehow helped sooth the loss for my youngest son who had a very hard time dealing with his father's death when he was seven years old. it was when he was about twelve, his teenage babysitter played it for him and it helped ease some of the emotional pain he was keeping bottled up inside him. on feb. 21, 2003, my youngest son, justin belcher, died at the age of 19. instead of a furneral service, we had a large cook-out at a beach park across the bay where he and his friends used to go and ride the wave runners and set up their dj equipment and party and play all day. we had a celebration of his life ceremony by the water. on the front of his program that we made, we had the lyrics from your song: i will be watching over you - i am gonna help you see it through - i will protect you in the night - i am smiling next to you....in silent lucidity. his younger sister, amanda belcher, who was 16 (which made her 3 years younger at the time) had a very hard time dealing with the loss of her brother she was so close to. three years later, amanda, died at the age of 19 in an auto accident. we did the same for her, with the same lyrics on her program with a celebration of her life cook-out at the same beach. needless to say, at age 49, this song means more to me, my family and all their closest friends than you will ever know. through all of our losses of our loved ones and the terribles heartaches we still and always will endure, i want you to know that this song will always be very special to us. thank you.
