The Referential treatment used here has a nice angular feel. If you were hearing it for the first time, the proceeding lyrics were unpredictable and could cover a lot of subject material. I now know that the KQ is a classy high-priced call ( like Holly Golightly, peut-etre? ) FM did a tantalizing job on the lyric writing.

Now before I write this review, dynamite is nonfictional, and a laser beam is fictional. By how much damage laser beams can do, I judge that when mixed together, you have the equivalent of a nuclear bomb.

Now, let's get to my point. When they get to, ''Dynamite with a *laser beam,*'' ; The astericks mark the point where they make it sound like a laser beam. Now THAT'S pretty cool. Whoever says this song sucks, and they are severely allergic to citrus, go suck a lemon. Otherwise, STFU and kick your *** to hell, 'cause ain't no one gonna' do it for 'ya.

I Love Queen Too! | Reviewer: Bronwen Raza | 3/28/11

I am only a kid and I love Queen too! every and any song I espesically love Bohemian Rhapsody i like it because it changes half way through into a sort of jail scene with the eletric chair (send a bolt of lighting very frightning) and i love the harmonies at the begining it's kind of eeriy and spaceous like he's just killed him and is having second thoughts like is this really happening have i just done this. and his tinking what to say to his family. I love queen so much they are by far my favourtie rock band I only wish freddie was around to bless us with that golden voice.
Killer Queen is awesome to and i cant wait to get the greatest hits albums for my birthday (YAY!!!)

I'm only a kid, but I absolutely adore Queen, and especially this song!!! (though I must say that The Prophet's Song is my favorite.) This song has a delightful melody and beautiful harmonies as can only be expected of Queen. If only Freddie were still around...

"Only the Good Die young"- Billy Joel. | Reviewer: Anonymous | 2/11/11

Queen, has written and performed far better songs than this one, and if you can say that this steals first place, than you certainly don't belong on a preference scale for Queen. Freddie Mercury's best hits are, Somebody to love, Year of '39 and Besfriend.

R.I.P Freddie, you were a good man who has soul.

The Best Song Ever Written | Reviewer: Maria | 1/26/11

Before I write this review, can I just quote Freddie Mercury, when asked about this song:

"People are used to hard rock, energy music from Queen, yet with this single you almost expect Noel Coward to sing it. It's one of those bowler hat, black suspender belt numbers – not that Coward would wear that. (...) It's about a high class call girl. I'm trying to say that classy people can be whores as well. That's what the song is about, though I'd prefer people to put their interpretation upon it – to read into it what they like."

So it's about a prostitute, people.

In my opinion, this song is one of the best songs ever written. I love the vocals and the use of chorus to enhance and emphasise lines.

Besides that, it is great for singing along and the lyrics are terrific.

I LOVE QUEEN.

I always thought the song was written about a female spy (sort of a female James Bond)thus the references to champagne, cavier, french parfume. But in the meantime deadly accurate with a gun, explosives (gelatine), or laser weapons. Would also tie in with Kennedy and Kruschchev (possible double agent). or maybe thats just my interpretation

Killer Queen | Reviewer: Boris the Spider | 6/27/10

This song turned me on to the music of Queen and will always have a special place in my heart. The lyrics don't quite match what I thought Freddie was singing, and what I've been singing along to for 36 years !

Listen to Freddie! | Reviewer: queenlover | 6/7/10

Why argue about what the song is about when Freddie tells us in an interview: "...classy people can be whores as well." The answer is right in front of your face!! And for all of you who look too deep into it...it's Queen. Everyone has their own interpretation of their genius songs.

I thouroughly enjoy this song | Reviewer: The Class Man | 5/16/10

But Gentlemen, it's about exactly what it sounds like it's about: A very classy prostitute. Also, to answer Niloo, They're saying "Gelatine", the british way to spell and pronounce Gelatin (Likely because Gelatine fits the rythm much better). Gelatin, or Gelatine, is used in this case to reference Gelignite, a gelatin explosive similar to nitroglycerine.

As soon as I saw this website thing that my dad found my dad said"it's defently guillotine."But i said "no it's gelatine so we turned on Queen and lisened to it very carefuly and turned it up to top volume and it was definitly no mastaking it 100% serton it was gelatine.

stop looking for a meaning | Reviewer: dream catcher | 3/29/10

Freddie liked to write lyrics that he had a good feeling about, their having a precise meaning not being a priority. Bohemian Rhapsody is like that too, lots of his songs are like that. He likes bringing some 'feel' that people can explore and interpret in their own ways. He understood quite early that the more you give up about your public persona, the less interesting you become. This high maintenance, aristocratic profile is something you can see in his scenic operatic performances. No need to look for the 'original' meaning. There is none.

Quit arguing about what it's about already! | Reviewer: Anonymous | 3/3/10

It's not hard to find out what it is about. NOT the Queen of England. NOT heroine. NOT drag queens. Freddie Mercury says in an interview what it is about. "It's about a high class call girl. I'm trying to say that classy people can be whores as well. That's what the song is about, though I'd prefer people to put their interpretation upon it - to read into it what they like." Killer Queen ref | Reviewer: Jaie | 2/23/10

its not about the queen of britain, Marie Antoinette was the queen of France. the song is about heroine and the ups and downs of it. used by everyone from High society to the pits no dealer stays in the same spot unless they want to get caught. the majority of the song is talking about who does it, how its hidden. the dynomite and guilotine part are relative to the fact that the experience you get from the drug is an ultimate high with a swift return. the reference to marie antoinette and her famous line is that this particular kind of heroine is harder to come by, its a more concentrated and cleaner form of the heroine. Let them eat cake (reference to the french poor crying about no bread and the queen saying let them eat cake, if they can afford it, basically telling the french people to starve) let those that cant afford wish for it, or kill for it, again reference to the "killer" in killer queen

The Queen of England is the Killer Queen | Reviewer: Scott Lybbert | 2/11/10

The subject of Killer queen is an obvious reference to The Queen of England and the contradictions between her perfect, outwardly kind, educated, love for the people (Let them eat cake), precise public persona and the fact that she sits upon gold riches won by colonizing, dominating and essentially stealing lives and wealth from the same poor people she claims to love...the contradiction is what "blows your mind"...and she is a Killer Queen. The reference to Kruchev and Kennedy, the man from China, and reference to Marie Antoinette are clear political references of the time. Think of it in these terms and you will see the brilliance of the song lyrics and understand why Queen never spelled it out. I love it.
