I'm white, blue eyes, middle aged man. There are aspects of their lyrics which appeal to me and others that repel me. The appealing aspects center around waking the sleeping giant which is traditional American culture. Our culture is under siege from many directions: terrorists, illegal aliens, hip-hop 'culture', entitlement mentality (e.g. affirmative action), etc. The majority in this country should take back our culture. As a more concrete example, I don't feel much like apologizing for wrongs I never committed (slavery, racism, etc.) Turn that fear to hate? This is an unfortunate line. Hate is not a good driver for change. Turn that fear to action. Turn that fear to resolve. Hate, though...nah. It would be good to see these girls sharpen their message and drop the hate part. Don't stoop to the level of low-life rappers.
